i got rekt in this game so hard, no clue where exactly i threw it so hard. Macro ofc i guess and i wasnt active on the map yes i know, but... how am i supposed to do all of that at the same time?
was my build that bad? my 3rd that late? my drops so garbage? I had litterly no chance at all. and i dont know what to do here

edit: I guess my biggest problem is a clear build, a clear idea of TvZ and then macro and basic mechanics. My drops did no real dmg, my pushes are bad, my timings the worst... I watch pros play, but that doesnt help me at all, as i can't play as good as them currently. So after the 16 marine drop, what should i do? go for tanks and after that mines? I feel tanks are super bad vs ling bane as the close the gap to fast. should i even try to hit a stronger timing with 4 medivacs? Where should i hit and when exactly? It is so hard to be active on the map and deny creep if all my actions do zero damage. Always my forces get outnumbered hard by zerg, like rly, always, so staying off creep and deny it is no real option for me most times as well as i just lose units left and right without achiving anything

i can't watch the reps right now but if the zergs go for mutas, stop dropping marines at all and just mass up your army, and then send a single or two medivacs to split the zerg while you push to the front. go for mines if you're playing vs ling/bling/muta.

so do you think HotS Polt style with 3 fax for mines with speedburrow might worth a try?

Try 7/2/1 7 rax 4 reactors 3 techlabs (or swap your preference) and 1 techlab factory 1 reactor factory. make 2 widows and 1 thor at a time thors are excellent units vs mutas and they can also tank a lot of banelings so they're really good. As well you can research drilling claws from the techlab factory. The starport can also focus on medivacs rather than liberators if you have a thor. Ideally though late game you don't want more than like 6 medivacs? preference really.

its a combination of the little things, especially in tvz, because the nature of zerg economy and how it must be limited and/or punished. its the truth although you probably want more specific advice, i assure you its the little things, they add up to a big snowball of Z and you think Z is imba. my notes:
-you missed a lot of scv production around when you sent the 2 medivacs out. -you weren't able to pick up 3 marines that should have never died. at this point, without those two kinda small mistakes, you'd be ok, you dont HAVE to do damage! he built enough lings to limit his drones, you were fine to continue. The point of Terran aggression pre-allin ("big push") is to TEST whether they invested enough in army. Him passing the test doesn't mean you are behind, it means you should be even if you kept making scvs, which you didnt. -you built ebays before 3rd cc (not the worst, but you didnt build cc at 400mins after ebays, that would have been at least 2nd most ideal thing to cc immediately then ebays). im sure you did this intentionally, so again, its ok, but build the cc at 400 mins please! the difference in upgrade timing is 10seconds, and you fucked up on the upgrades anyway (see below) -pretty big delay of time after rax 3-5 finished, before starting reactor, few idle scvs, few scvs late transfer to 3rd. i think you should build rest of depots to wall off both areas where he can run towards your third on this map. -gas 4 was a tiny bit late + armory was a little early, and you had 2 in one of your gases for a bit, so your +2 armor was delayed by an entire minute...that fucking SUCKS. see how those things made a game-losing difference? your 2/2 can't be a minute behind vs zerg. that alone is gg. -at the most cruical moments in the game, you are trading with 2/2 ling/bling with 2/1 because of this, so i cannot stress enough how much it hurt you. he basically did a 2/2 ling/bling allin, so you do want to harass less and wait for 3/3. but with armor so far behind, you could have at least waited for 3/2 before pushing -your comp is not what lost you the game. as your multiprong did pretty decent damage around 10 min! (good job!) i look back at your base and you focused nothing on it the whole time, you are floating 1.5/1.4 and even in supply with zerg. think about that. if you spent that shit he has a 0% chance to win. even without spending anything while microing, you are even right now. -since you didnt spend money, he had time to recover on 5 bases by the time you would be able to attack him again... -since you didnt spend money (and even if you did) you need more than 8/1/1. add a fac for 8/2/1 in a game like this where a 4th wont be possible but his army is relatively weak to other zerg comps. make thors in this game, most times tanks are better but yeah 2 fac thors + 8 rax, and after 6 medivacs, make liberators from one port.
if you macroed after your attack you'd win. everything after 11mins is useless to analyze.

Wow ^ Awesome Analysis Nath :D

yep that is rly super helpful, thank you so much for your help there nath
but do you rly think Thor are the way to go here? I understand they did well in HotS and maybe can still be decent in LotV but i feel like the lib is just a bit better? I am rly not sure here about that. However, i see that my poor macro and timings did dmg me the most so it is no wonder i lost hard there, good to see that it was all my mistakes and not balance or anything like that, so that means i can rly work and improve there

If you watch Byun you'll see how he uses the mobility of Medivacs to retreat and move to high ground that makes it harder for lings and bings to rap around the troops. The same applies when zerg tries to bum rush into a mine field and drag them onto your troops. This isn't so useful against ravagers so starting with Siege Tanks at the start.
Other than that target fire the banelings.
