Hi everyone! I am Ryu
This is my first ever build and it is a TvT (Mech oriented build) This build functions as a safety reaper expand that will allow you to survive most if not all cheese's or all-ins the other player can throw at you. This build is designed to keep you alive at the cost of trading early aggression.
The direct link to the spawning tool copy is here:
lotv.spawningtool.com
However, if you want a quick glance at it I also took a screenshot of it! + Show Spoiler +
Aside from that this is my first ever build. I am a 4 times masters Terran player and I seek to help as many players of any race I can whilst also improving myself. If there are any questions you have towards the build please leave them in the comments and ill get back to them as soon as possible! Thank you very much for reading this!
And Finally Good luck on the ladder

Would this not auto-die to 3-rax reaper?

Assuming you 17 scout you should see the 2nd gas or 2nd/3rd Rax so if you need to, you can delay the cc and just go for general defense (bunker hellions 2nd rax IF needed)

That's nice and all, but reaper expand into reactor is a massive gamble on the ladder. Pro players can get away with it with perfect micro or knowing their opponent well enough.
But on the ladder, you'll die to : - 3 rax reaper - 2 rax reaper - double gaz reaper/hellion without addons - arguably fast cyclone
I'm not saying that to flame or say the build is bad, but that's how TvT works, sadly. The only "safe" build is going 2x gaz reaper/hellion with no addon, and that screws the timing of your natural very, very hard.

From my experience you can get away with a gas first reaper expand. However, you need to scout. It is unacceptable to not scout in TvT especially. Ideally the players below diamond should do 17 scouts and look to count the gas / buildings the reaper is only there to provide a second easier scout. Or to find proxies either or. I guess I should explain though that people should either Depot scout or 17 scout because if we go off of that logic then cheesing is the easiest way to win which it is not. Players should be able to follow an opener and adapt it off of what they scout.
Example: Lets say you use this build order and your 17 scout notices he has 1 barracks 1 gas but on its way back you scout a 2nd barracks what does that tell you? It should tell you 2rax reaper (due to 1 gas) which means with our initial reaper we need to play it defensive and throw down an earlier factory while pumping out marines.
In my experience with this build I have been cheesed and I have defended it. Knowing how to scout it is key in TvT.

Meh, the main issue with TvT at the moment is that there are some builds that you just loose to. For instance, if you scout 3 rax reaper with your build, you're dead. Plain and simple. If you manage to defend it, your opponent screwed his micro.
Then again i don't think it's a bad build by any means, but labeling it "safe" isn't something i really agree with.

I can see what your point is but I don't think it makes sense. The way TvT works it is a coin flip like some players would say. But I do not believe in there being an impossible way to defend against it. When I scout 3rax reaper I throw down a 2nd barracks and make 1 marine hellion until I have enough to hold off the attack. The thing with 3rax reaper is that in TvT as long as you keep advancing your tech and buildings while also efficiently and effectively keeping reapers at bay (Losing less units and killing more) you can defend. 3Rax reaper however is not a build that you can apply to a build like this. Its an all-in / cheese its only counter is a straight up anti all-in 3rax reapers only counter is knowing exactly what it is. To improve this build ill take your comments and increase the need for players to depot scout. Idk if this sounds rude but I genuniely appreciate your comments and the time you take to give your critique to the build
