Its hard to pin point a mistake without seeing a game. Which match-ups do you struggle against? What do you do in these?

http://ggtracker.com/players/1857676/Zyandr Apart from floating too many minerals. Do you have a tech path preference?

Now, I'm not a protoss player so I won't make any comment on any build. Also the build probably doesn't matter that much at this level. But first thing first : Macro management Spending your money : In this game, you start floating minerals around 8 minutes. Don't follow a build blindly, if you see that you are floating a lot of minerals/gas, don't hesitate to throw gateways down in order to increase your production/spending capacities. Economy : You are not always producing probes. The first time you stop producing probes is around 1:30 and you stop for 20 seconds. You then produce 2 more probes before stopping production from 2:10 to 3:20. That's 1 min and 10 sec of no economy building. That happens quite often during the whole game. Game specific stuff : I don't think hiding half your production/tech away on a corner of the map was a good idea. Unless you are using that production and tech to do something very specific (like hiding your DTs or planning a timing) it's better to just build it in your base. You lost 2 gates, one Twilight Council and 2 Stargates up there (they didn't die, but they were un-powered until the end of the game. That is at least 1000 minerals and 500 gas that you spent but could not use. So build that stuff in base where you can easily defend it and you can use it to build units later on in the game.

By going for proxies you delay your eco which means you must hit hard and fast, if they defend you are behind! According to the replay by the time the fights happen your opponent have more then you do, so even the proxy location doesn't help you with reinforcements. Not to speak that with proxies you should go for more army so that you have more then your opponent (while you invest in production and army you rely on your opponent investing in eco, so you can surprise him and have your reinforcements early due to the proxy location). You must take your fights earlier if you proxy, as you throw away the army lead you can have by not investing into eco if you take the fight too late (their eco advantage will have the time to kick in). What is you gameplan with those proxies? Do you know how much production you want to make so that you'll have your resources low? I notice your opponents played safe. If they always do that a proxy isn't the way to go. A proxy is about overwhelming a player who didn't scout and was too greedy (Which means he isn't safe for your quick attack). In case you don't want to do proxies you should give us replays with no proxies. What kind of build orders do you go for if you don't proxy? (going for a crisp build order will get you to Gold the minimum)
