Hey, if anyone is interested, it's now possible to bet on Copenhagen Games with Paddy Power (a major UK bookmaker with 2000 shops in Ireland). Right now oGs.MC is evens favourite, White-Ra and naniwa at 3/1, morrow and TheWind at 6/1. If you would like to place a bet or see all of the odds you can do so at http://tinyurl.com/ppstarcraft - I don't want to advertise any related promotions that we have going for people who bet in case it breaks advertising rules but you could PM me if you are interested and would like to know more. Personally, I like MC at evens to repeat his Dreamhack invitational win but there are lots of good players at big prices!

Yeah, I think it's so cool that another bookmaker is entering the Starcraft 2 market, though I must say that Paddy Powers odds are so poor.. Think of it, in a tournament with 64 competitors and a favorite at even odds, the highest odds for every underdog is still 17... That is so incredibly poor that I don't even have words for it.
And I don't really think any of their odds are that attractive, and at least not MC. I'm not saying that all the odds sucks, or that MC won't win because, I think he will, but given he has to win 2 groupstage battles and then RO32, RO16, RO8, RO4 and the final, he has to win 6 matches. Even if we say that he's guaranteed a RO32 spot, you have to give him an average of 85% of winning each single elemination match in order for this to be profitable in the long run. There are quite a few opponents where I don't feel he will win 85% of the time.
