Looked like a nice studio, good editing. As with the NASL, we can't (or shouldn't, i guess) pass judgement until it starts.

Correct, IGN is owned by News Corporation which is owned by Rupert Murdoch, but this is an IGN initiative, built by people who are passionate about gaming for people who are passionate about gaming. I wasn't badmouthing it, merely pointing out that such a large organization getting on board for ESPORTS (News Corporation is freaking HUGE) could very well have an interesting impact on the scene. If IGN is doing this independently of the parent organization, I am of course quite a bit off the mark.

Its only about 360 posts. and even if you skim you will get your question answered at least 2 times. Hope this goes really well for IGN and that streaming works well. Is it just Alex and Edward working on it? from IGN that is? I understand there is a production team and all that. @above Ye theoretically 150k a year from IGN plus the 400k from NASL MLG 50k or the much harder chance of getting 600k max from GSL (ye that doesnt include the payments they get for being in GSL) Theres more opportunities for idra to win here

Idra definitely made the right choice GSL is just one tournament, and once you got booted What will you do in 1 month? Also the fact that he's a one man team in Korea aswell with no real practice partners.

I was wondering, how come IGN or NASL didn't try to do commercials off youtube stars? Those guys get millions of views in matters of hours and wouldn't be too expensive to throw out few words about league and tag a link to their video

He can't be everywhere :-) Its just so much going on right now which is friggin amazing! I hope good casters will evolve from this situation so future tournaments have a lot to chose from ^_^ Go Rotterdam!! :D

Also, nice well rounded casting crew. I mean, Day9 is just one person so until we figure out a way to have him everywhere at the same time, this is as good as it gets.
