I have a very SIMPLE $500 audio setup that anyone could probably goto a Guitar Center and pickup. There are no special tricks, this is the SAME audio setup I've been using since the TsN/iTG days in 2001. It's definitely not rocket science :D

I am a big fan of your casting. IMO you, TotalBiscuit, Diggity, Artosis and Tasteless are the 5 best casters in the business. I have a question for you- do you have any plans to cast in the NASL? If not at the moment, if you were approached and asked to commentate some matches would you consider it? PS> keep up the great work, I am sure there is much success for you in the future!

My setup is even simpler than that, I'm just using a high-quality single-channel XLR USB preamp and a good dynamic super-cardoid mic. Wellplayed put a layer of compression over my audio but that was about it.

This is all greek to me but all I know is that you guys sounded great coming out of my sound system + giant LCD TV (HDMI from my medic PC). :D :D On the other hand, I can't even get the mic on my Razer Carcharias headset to work right.

Would like to ask you the same question as I asked DJW (sorta): In the NASL InControl has spoken highly of you more than once- so I am wondering if you have plans to cast on his NASL show? Would really think you, or you and Wheat combined could really bring some professionalism to that show. BTW love your 'action descriptive' words while casting like "carnage" "extreme violence" etc etc. Keep up the awesome work and answer my NASL question man!

PS> keep up the great work, I am sure there is much success for you in the future! Thanks for the kind words. As far as NASL goes... the biggest problem for me is taking the time off my "IRL" job in order to be able to commentate. I would love it if I was in a position to just go spend some time out at the studio because I also believe I could help them considerably in the production department (having around 10 years of experience there). I have been approached by NASL regarding casting... but the biggest issue was taking the time off and alternatively being compensated for it. Casting/Shows/etc is not my full time job. It doesn't support me, I just do it cause I fucking love it. Unfortunately this means that my IRL Job always takes priority... and in most cases I have to use my vacation from my IRL Job to be able to do Casting/Expos/etc. So that's kinda where I stand with that. I just wish I had more time to offer. Alternatively, the IGN involvement is a perfect storm. I didn't have to travel to help be a part of a successful venture. And it really does show (and prove) that because we live in the internet, it doesn't matter if I'm casting form the moon, or your parent's basement... the only thing that matters is the quality of the content in the end.
