Yesterday's broadcast has had its issues. We all saw it. There are 10+ pages of whining. There is an entirely new cast going on now. Please keep whining about issues experienced yesterday to yourself going forward in the thread and allow other people to enjoy the games. |

First off Tyler is in no way a "douchebag" and he wasn't trying to BM Mana he was asking a question because he thought that they were playing on the wrong version of that map. He waited from for a response from most likely a referee, and didn't get one, hence what he said.
He left Mana with the GG.
Also Tyler isn't "overrated" or "bad", he has been in a slump as of late as all the Liquid guys have been. He is also a player that refines his builds so much, that the fact that 1 FF can block a ramp versus 2 FF is game changing, as we saw in Game 2.
Try to analyze what happened instead of acting like a schoolyard punk.

Not even the SC1 terran feels right :< click the 480p button I have, I tried 240p/360p too but didn't notice any difference (?)

Agreed. All the different versions with small tweaks to the standard map are really causing confusion. Tournaments need to state exactly which version of the map is going to be played, I'm sure Tyler prepared his build meticulously for Crevasse with the standard ramp. It's sad but these things happen.
|
I dont think tyler was mad at Mana i think he tried to get hold of the referees why the ramps were so small, when he didnt get any response from the referees he gets mad at them. You cant get mad at a opponent for you not knowing what version of the map you are playing.

Tyler had a right to be furious. I commend his passion.
|
There are thousands of version of each map (shakuras, crevasse, taldarim, etc.). Seriously they need to tell what map they choose to the players and spec and why they choose this maps. They need to fix it asap. Tyler not knowing which version they choose is ridiculous...

Tyler noticed sometime during the game that the map was altered in a way that affected his gameplay, he asked the refs about it but they didn't respond so he got upset they didn't answer him. He never said anything bad to or about Mana.

As far as I'm concerned, he's got every right to be angry. The fact that every league out there now has their own stupid subtle changes in every map is taking the quality of the leagues back to pre-Lost-Temple SC matchmaking.

Thanks for the clarifications about the map and Tyler's comments, guys

The games are not in the same order as US cast ? yesterday tuned in for pain vs cloud and boxer vs drewbie (last 2 series of the night) and now painuser is before sen vs zenio Don't have the courage to rewatch that serie waiting for sen vs zenio, good night guys =)

Okay we get it but the fact to do it in the main in game chat was a little bit confusing.

Pls, Tyler is most definitely overrated. Ppl just like him because of his SC1 career.
What has he won in sc2 so far ? Nothing. For him to be "slumping" he first had to win something.

What on earth is wrong with the music in NASL? How hard is it to just use the normal SC2 music? First nothing, then unrelated music (way worse than silence) and now they've got the wrong game? Jeez.
Don't get me wrong, SC1 music, esp the terran theme, is fantastic and incredibly evocative and atmospheric...but for SC1.
Anyway, excited to see Cloud play.

Just checked in and wanted to mention that this is the first time that the EU rebroadcast hasn't been extremely laggy and unwatchable for me.
Also, game sounds are way, way too low. Even lower than usual, which is already too low.

Yes lol, VERY professional and rational behaviour by Tyler. What did he expect the referee to do? Answer like "oh yeah, we were wrong, let's replay the game" or rather "oh sorry, we stated a couple of weeks ago that we are using these maps, but for you we make an exception" ? :D

Actually it's more that NASL is, for some bizarre reason, using earlier versions of the maps. None of the changes originate with them; the maps seem to be the ones used in the earliest testing stages, before significant changes were made.

Stream looks pretty good now, working pretty smooth @ 480P, not 100% smooth but surely watchable and the quality is ok. If they could make it a bit smoother the stream is perfect atleast
