The cast is at 4:00pm EST on July 24th and July 26th!
This month marked the beginning of Season 2 for the Map of the Month tournament. And the mappers have created 5 more amazing maps for SC2 players to do battle upon.
In addition to the five new maps, the new season brings a change in format. This month, 8 pro players will fight in a single-elimination Best of Five format. Map of the month regulars DDE and Whiplash are joined by relative newcomers like FireBatHero and YoonYJ. The amazing players guarantee entertaining games - and to top it all off, MrBitter and a special guest will be casting!
For more information about MotM, see our organization thread!

Is this the first official TPW map tournament? I hope you guys continue to build support and I'd love to see these maps at least tried out in some of the smaller leagues.

Sadly this is not an official TPW map tournament, we were just fortunate enough to score the top 5 maps in MotM. Part of the reason might be that we just formed and presented all of our greatest maps there (so far), but we had a lot of good competition.
But this will be really interesting and I hope for good games
We're trying to get our maps played, keep looking for updates in our thread here or on our website.

Not so sadly, though. Motm is run every month, and even other excellent map makers will have their chance to get their maps played in MotM. I hope we cn inspire other's in the community to join up in teams and collaborate to make the best melee (or even UMS) maps possible.
For your information: the casting time in CEST is 20:00:00.
Where do we find MrBitter's stream? The oP lacks that info.

Mr Bitter is casting, so there should be a good amount of views i think.

You guys should bring in koreans to do these, I'm sure they would be delighted to receive invites.

But funnily enough, over half of the players are Korean, though most don't live in Korea.

I really like how MotM has improved over the months. It used to just be map-makers and volunteer players, but now it's becoming koreans and pro casters ^^ This will get very big!
|
Should be a really great watch!
|
Sorry guys, I messed up the time - 4:00 pm EST, not 2:00! I'll try to change the calendar time.
|
WHOA this is awesome. ;D
I wouldn't mind 16 players but it's worth it to have a bracket like this. wp iGrok et al. I can't wait for future awesome. I can't wait for the imminent awesome. So much awesome.

That would be Tumba from Stim.tv.

Wonderful first day of streaming! Looking forward to Day 2!
|
Loved the casting by both Mr.Bitter and Tumba of Stim.tv! Hope to see more of that combo!
|
Also looking forward to day2 a lot.
A chance we get replays of the matches from day 1? Especially of the games not casted?
BTW ..
I liked when Whiplash joined the chat just to make sure evryone payed attention to the game agaisnt maestro on Core Delta where he 8gate:ed and basically stomped maestro to death with zealots. It was great to have one of the players chatting and 1500+ ppl watching.
I'm debating with myself if there were any matches on my map (Core Delta) that I should keep. The first two matches were short and unsatisfying. The game mentioned above was short but kinda action filled and with a twist. What did you think of that game? Worth spreading?

Nice tournament, even tho the last 3 games of the final were kinda rape
I wish MrBitter could go to ESL when he is a caster there and be like "yo, let's use MotM maps in our tournaments from now on" ^^

only caught the last few games, thanks mr bitter for casting.

Guys:
I'm sure I'm not the only one out here that has a sincere, enthusiastic interest in MOTM.
But honestly - you make it so hard to watch it. Where is/are?
- The MOTM main website
- The YouTube channel with VOD archives
- Clear links to the live casts (not buried deep in one of the threads somewhere}
- Clear links to VODs after the fact (because more people's schedules do not permit watching live)
Apparently promo is not your forte lol. All you have are these scattered threads with poor or non-existent linking
I'm not pissed. Its just annoying that I (we - because I know there are others, I see them posting) we want to watch but cant. So I (we) try to find a way to view, give up, and wander off.
Its everybody's loss
