Koreans don't speak our language, get our culture, participate in our scene, they aren't on the SC2 shows, they don't stream, they don't contribute anything at all to the western scene. Before this tournament the only Korean I knew anything about was Boxer. Thus, I can't just suddenly care about the results 5 guys I have never heard of post. I didn't paint it as racist, those are your words. You root for Naniwa, since when is he from the USA?

As I said, its not racist, I don't care where they are from. Naniwa streams in english, goes on the SC2 shows like SOTG and the OneMoreGame shows. He really interacts with the community. I would love for him to win. Same with players like TLO and others. He did that big fundraiser, he has been on TL Attack, he really interacts with the community. I don't feel like the Korean players do any of that, thus I don't have any reason to cheer them on. Your thinking of it in a racial sense but it isn't, it is players who participate in the western scene (that is everywhere outside of Korea) and players who do not participate in the western scene (that is, Koreans).

So guys that don't interact with the community shouldn't be allowed into MLG? Plenty of Slayers guys have premium streams on TL, some Koreans interact with fans on twitter, and most can speak fairly understandable english. Lots of western players interact even less then some Koreans, should they be banned from going to MLG?

I don't think many would disagree that this tournament would be a lot more exciting if there were foreigners in the top 6... That way Milkis wouldn't have to speak for all of them for one thing. I really do find it awesome when the korean players speak english, however, so props to DRG and MC for pulling it off.

You're the one who said "Welp, another all Korean result. Just like last MLG, every Korean who shows up is in the top, if more and more Koreans keep coming pretty soon they can just rename MLG to GSL America and call it good. Not looking like western players can really compete at all." I responded to that. If you didn't mean, Koreans specifically, and just meant players who don't interact with TL community, maybe you should've wrote that originally.
