Great tournament, although I missed a lot of games due to TimeZone issues. I was watching WhiteRa go up 2-0 and became amazed when DDE won the series 3-2 :S

Are you guys going to release a replay pack for this one aswell?

Oh wow. Could the OP please hide the bracket so I don't get spoiled by simply opening the thread? THANKS!

Reading an LR thread and not expecting spoilers is not very smart.

Hey TB,
I know you're upset about the matches that ended up being 3-0 and a bit one-sided, but these things happen, you can't have everything go according to plan. Chin up mate, you've done an absolutely fantastic job with the SCI series so far and i am really looking forward to SCI4. Look at it this way (and yes i'm going to feed your ego here, something i am second guessing right now ) this tournament exists because of you. Yeah you have some fantastic people around you with Intricacy, dApollo, Vaqueth, Zooc, the chat mods etc, but this would not exist without your dedication to gaming and e-sports.
The SCI series is going from strength to strength and it really shows how much work you put into making everything run as smoothly as possible. Everyone did a fantastic job working together to bring a great tournament to the masses. Thank you once again to everyone involved and to the community at large for banding together to show TB that his work is appreciated (i said thanks a few times in JTV chat, but between all the race "OP" qq it probably got lost).
You, sir, are the epitome of awesome.

my mind has been blown yesterday as I was slowly falling to sleep. I was listening to the christmas special yogpod (#35) and suddenly I hear Simon say "the executive producer, tatada tatata taaa, HO-HO-HO for this christmas edition is Colin Smith, from the United States of the Americas!" coincidence? hardly.

Great TB! Will you update it in this thread or where do I find it?

just watched the finals and it was a very nice set of games. especialy the last map was well played by Socke: early voidray into fast chargelots+storm (while harassing and taking the gold on Xel Naga Caverns) into colossus = cool stuff. grats Socke
edit: the fast armor upgrades also helped a lot.

Great tournament TB.
Is it at all possible to make anti-spoiler videos on youtube? I gotta say that when I go there and add the games to a queue, adding 3 games in a Bo5 kind of spoils games 2 and 3 for me.
I remember diggity, moletrap and klazart used to add 10-20 minute fluff videos that would just say G4 and G5. It might be a lot of wasted space and maybe I'm the only one to complain but it stops me from watching games 1 and 2 unfortunately.
Thanks and really looking forward to SCI4 and beyond. The winning race is definitely OP =D

Because it's being uploaded directly from JTV, I can't see a way of adding anti-spoilers.

If you watch using the links Intricacy posted you will not see any of these possible spoilers.

Yes he got outplayed today, but gotta take the "Bigger Picture" into account. If you take the bigger picture into account then shouldn't the players who absolutely rolled through him get more tips? I guess the amount it is higher by is what astounds me more than it is simply the highest but it's not a big deal anyway. How can you talk about the bigger picture but not realize that you are missing the bigger picture, which is more than just the results he posted. The tips are merely an easy way of people supporting the players that they like. It doesn't have to be based off their results (though it may be), but it can instead be based off his personality, the creativity he showed in game, etc. If it were based on how well they played, how would that be any different than simply raising the prize pool and giving the players who got further even more money... I don't see your logic. On top of that, what do you even suggest they do? Force people who want to donate to TLO (because he is their favorite player, or whatever other reason) to instead tip another player? It makes no sense. I guess you wanted people to say "well I like TLO, but I will give my money to DDE since he got further but isn't getting tipped as much"? You guys are literally arguing about nothing. TLO got the most tips because his tip jar wasn't updating at all (German paypal doing things differently or something) and people kept tipping him because they didn't want him to be at $0. When TB finally said that TLO's tipjar wasn't updating, he already had $400+ donated.
Good stuff TB and everyone else involved, I look forward to SCI4.
