I very sadly have to address the fact Grubby will most probably not be playing this GSS - Pro invitational. He will on the other hand probably be streaming matches from Korea. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah it was a great tournament. Minor hick ups we had, have been capped this time.
On a completely different note. We have refurbished http://egs.tv and we are trying to collate your streams so people can see all the fancy stuff you do. It is built towards complete promotion of what you guys put all your hard work in.
We are very eager to add your streams to the portal. so please all head down to http://egs.tv and fill in the form > we take care of the rest and make sure your stream gets a nice spot in the portal.
Invite list has been updated and we're now taking submissions for invitations. If you want to be considered for an invite then follow the instructions provided in the OP.
kas, dimaga, qxc, sheth, darkforce, merz, white-ra, tarson, etc etc etc , dont get why this tourney isnt getting more ♥.. insane players, grubby casting, if i was a girl i would be gliding from my chair out of happyness
we will be closing registration and last bits and pieces between 12:00-13:00 and start working on the Seedings. GSS is upon us today with a fantastic list of players.
Stream is ready, we are ready, Pizza order has been submitted. Sit back and enjoy a wonderful night of high quality SC2 games.
Our stream will go live: 18:30 Dutch Local time with a small introduction and thank you, before we switch to Korea and get live coverage done by Grubby himself. The GSS stream can be found at EGStv
Our partners Krytos and OrigineTV will respectively cast till semi-finals in German and French and re-cast the replays once the become available from semi's to finals.
Final Brackets will appear both on our dedicated GSS portal (Tab Brackets) and of course on EGSonline.eu
Additional: MobyWan of Team Knights has won the GSS Qualifier last wednesday, he has won his wildcard into the GSS Pro-Invitational, let's give this aspiring player a warm welcome.

Oh and: Due to Grubby streaming from Korea today, we will not have the sexy triplet of ladies we had last time! They will be back next GSS
If it's nearby i might just do that, offcourse partly because the lady's ;p
A unique format as they are: A brunette, A blond and a Red haired. We had so much fun last time streaming. It is in the heart of the Netherlands you are always welcome to join us for Pizza and Drinks.

Great to have something else to see during breaks of games and in that format it's diversity as well. But sure, i live in the eastern part but hey our country is so small i can always take a train or car. I'll be sure to keep my eye on the next one then.
lolol, nothing better than troll MC "beating" Huk on the webcam can't happen in this tournament anymore. Glad I turned it on before the actual games began :D

What?
You aren't watching Grubbys stream if you don't understand
Hence the inquiry? I'm about to leave for class, I could only watch some.
He is groping himself and half stripping while doing a little stripper dance... That he is strangely all too good at. Oh and people are groping him. I am trying to watch some Starcraft!
lol, tlo forgot conc upgrade in the second game. already did that a few months ago on ladder. he was streaming and he got conc after like 25 mins into the game :D
On September 24 2011 03:09 Nimic wrote: Is the bracket site down?
We've got brackets in three locations, check the OP for links to them. Grubbystarcraft.com is the most up to date one since that's where the admins directly log the results.

I wonder, if in TvP the terran is 60 supply ahead, is it reasonably possible to see a comeback? Cause in ZvP this happens quite often and it is very frustrating to watch. Not saying that Sheth played flawlessly, but come on...

Its reasonable if the T player a moves into storm at bad at a position and stop doing multi pronged attacks.

Come on there is a thread for balance whine, and at the current state of PvZ...Zerg is literally raping P, just gotta use your race to the maximum. Protoss cant be 200/200 with hydra/roach/infestor(sick midgame composition) at the thirteen minute mark, but this kind of situations you said happen sometimes.

No, this is no balance thread, but I have to correct your facts. According to Blizzard, P have a 57% winratio vs Zerg at top levels in EU/US so it is the other way around. And that was before the Zerg nerfs, so where did you get your stats about Zerg literally raping P? Do you refer to the 48% Korean percentage or? This is no thread for this talk, but I just had to ask since your quote really made we wonder where you got your statement.

Did i mention anything about balance? And i wasn't whining, I asked a simple question.

I think he is talking about GSL results not ladder stats.
Grubby misses half of the action ...... doesent matter he is jsut awsome !! NICE cast btw
PS. I still remember the day i played him on xelnaga when he was still playing wc3 and only had about 40 games in sc2 and i still lost to his phoenix harras . was an honor to lose vs him =)
As much as people rag on ghosts, I don't think you can compete with BL/infestor without them. TLO's army showed promise but got owned by the sheer damage BL/corruptor/infestor can dish out.
^^. If he had something to diverge Nerchio while he tries to seeker missile the BLs or the Infestors would be cool. But hey, ghosts are good. At least to EMP/snipe the infestors.
Yeah, Grubby`s casting is very good! Cool tournament too.
Mana x Nerchio g1: Mana didn`t scout too hardcore (didn`t send aditional probes after the first; no hallu; no poking aounrd; no suicide zealots; only one observer for a long time), which in turn cost him the opportunity to abuse the risks Nerchio took in the early to mid game. Good muta transition from Nerchio as soon as he saw signs from early robo play. Both players are so good, looking forward for the rest of the series.
On September 24 2011 08:05 Lunas wrote: Osho coming out this tournament.
He had a pretty easy bracket before facing DarkForce tbh. moman/serashin/seiplo/welmu isn't exactly the scariest group of players.
Easy on paper, maybe. But Moman isn't bad, Serashin beat qxc, Seiplo beat LoWeLy as well as the guy who beat Tarson, and Welmu beat ClouD and Satiini. Not bad at all.
It's always smart to look at who the presumed easier opponents had to beat. DarkForce played Bling to get to the semi's for example. But looking closer at it, Bling had to beat MorroW and White Ra to get there.
See you again next GSS and thank you for the wonderful support guys. Please follow our stream http://twitch.tv/egslive and our twitter @egs_inc when we grow, the tournaments in EGS and GSS grow. Help us to help esports grow even more.

Hi, really sorry about that. It was a WO. The Internet at my new place (still waiting for my own) is running at 800ms during daytime, so I got screwed over by that and couldn't participate. Been doing everything I can to fix it on my end, so it's a bit frustrating >.<
we will be working on the replays/ vods today and see what we can salvage for you guys. I believe the bronze match should have been played yesterday, we will check up on Osho and DarkForce
@noam yes surely (monday morning before the coffee).
On a seperate note guys, tomorrow the Grubby Jersey Cup #3 for non-sponsored players will take off again as well. As you all know by now this is a weekly cup.
10:45 we have 18 sign-ups, but last time was filled up in 10 minutes. So be sure to grab a spot to play from tomorrow (tuesday 7pm CEST) on to win the Jersey Cup. Sign up:Grubby Jersey Cup
[EDIT: ] We will be streaming the Grubby Jersey Cup for non-sponsored players as well tomorrow. @EGSLive
