IdrA and HuK seem like obvious choices with their recent tournament victories. And hey, perhaps one of them will take 1st or 2nd in Providence anyways.

It'll be interesting to see who they invite + on what basis if MVP/Nestea end up winning Blizzcon or MLG also in MVP's case. MMA has a shot too. If MMA beats MVP in the finals, he will only be a couple hundred points below MC for the third spot..

They know the best way to attract an audience and make the Blizzard cup succeed is by having some more foreigners beyond Stephano. Logically, Huk or IdrA would get an invite thanks to their recent wins. Probably Huk since he is more accomplished.

Invites are unfair and doesn't really suit with the purpose of this tournament I think.

In this case they will "invite" the winner of IEM Guangzhou (IdrA) or the winner of MLG Orlando (Huk).

Doesnt make sence at all better to go down the GSL ranking instead where we will have more GSL champions

They obviously don't want a Korean only tournament. If they did they would have just taken the top 10 from the GSL Rankings.

The people in front of him in the gsl rankings are like mc, polt, mma, mkp I think it could happen, considering MVP is already invited and NesTea is going to providence, but he'd have to win the GSL or at least reach the finals and have MMA lose to the GSL curse early. Still, very unlikely , most likely players to win the GSL spots are MMA, MC and NesTea, and if he does win Providence, it's most likely to be MKP/Polt. July needs to reach the finals in order to have any chance. If MC lives through group stage in GSL Nov, he pretty much secures 3rd place in rankings Polt/MMA/MKP would need semifinals to surpass him.

IdrA and HuK would both have a high chance of getting in if they place top 4 of MLG (after MVP/Nestea) imo just due to their recent achievements + being some of the best/ the best foreigners @post above mine
