IdrA and Huk most likly won't be invited, IdrA has already been given a spot in the up & down matches (as well as demuslim) so he won't get an invite that would be too unfair for players that are very high in the gsl ranking but not top3.

Well... looks like MVP is getting 3 seeds so lot of room for invites :D

I'd love it if MVP gets to use all his spots, it really shows his dominance right now.

yes there wont be any invites; like we previously said its not the purpose of this cup at all. i think GSL rank will matter above all.

All Idra has to do is win MLG Providence then =p

If MVP, MMA and MC take up other spots, they should just go down the GSL Ranking line as the most fair seeing. Seeing as those players were the most consistent the entire year. Which would be Polt, then MKP, and then, if they need another spot due to MVP dominating everything, July.

There's going to be so much redunancy with the slots. MVP already has first place GSL and Blizzcon, and will most likely pick up 1 of the spots from Providence and easily WCG.

In what world would FruitDealer be 5th in the GSL points?

but the difference there, is that with IEM NYC, it was announced before the fact, which is the only reason DRG skipped MLG, to guarantee himself the invite into the blizzard cup
for guangzhou, there were some strong foreigners, but no code s koreans, so its harder to justify
hopefully idra will just win something big, or at least pull something like be runner up vs someone who already qualified

Rather than just plain inviting Idra or Huk due to redundancy, I'd rather see them base the invite off either MLG Orlando or Guangzhou instead of IEM NY and find another player to invite for redundancy.
