The first this we had to do was get attention so we got a bunch of Koreans because everybody loves Koreans, particularly MC and MKP. Some of them look and sound Swedish but they are coming from Korea so they're actually Korean. That's how geography works. Second, it's in the Philipines so we have to bring in bunch of philipino sponsored players. So we got 16 of them sorted. We're also flying in the best Protoss in Australia, AZKZiek, aka Zanooku, so that's cool. Finally we ran qualifiers to send 2 Australians. Australia is probably one of the weaker Pacific nations in terms of skill so we're only sending two so they are properly represented. And zanooku of course. So remember, for the PACIFIC qualifiers we have no Singaporeans, no Malaysians, no New Zealanders (jazbas anyone?), only one Taiwanese player (they actually have some decent players over there), no Indonesians, no Thai's (thanapol hwaiting!) and no hong-kongese. We just have an arseload of Koreans. And some swedes.

I think it's more of an oversight of the organization to not invite the more obvious SEA top players (such as Revz, RA, Jazbas, etc.) The online qualifiers were posted around. But for some reason the aforementioned players never heard of it. EDIT: Corrected double negative lol

Back during IPL2 it was said that the top 16 players from the event would be qualifier for the next IPL event, this was later confirmed to not be IPL3 but said to be a future online event. Are those players automatically qualified for IPL4 or is that still for a different future event?

Although I mostly have the same sentiments as iaguz on the player lineup. If I remember correctly this was originally supposed to be a standalone tournament, and was just made an IPL qualifier later? If that is the case I think the lineup (especially with regards to the invites) is understandable, but hopefully improved on future qualifiers.

I will take Sen in ZvZ or ZvP everyday, but his ZvT, especially against Korean Terrans, is very susceptible

It was a stand alone tourney at first and then later made to a PACIFIC qualifier. It explains the lineup perfectly.
