What he has to know, as a caster of a Tournament is, from which country the players come. If I would be the caster of MLG and I would announce Idra as a mexican, guess, what would happen in the LR. As a caster he is supposed to follow current trends in the metagame and cast games. Also, comparing Orly to Idra is hilarious. Go look at their TLPD pages.
Why should it be hilarious? The fact, that Idra is better than Orly has nothing to do with their home-country.

Poor DBS... well, at least he beat Bischu 2-0, so his first tournament experience wasn't a complete failure....well.

It's ok if MrBitter can't tell the Belgian flag apart from the Romanian one, but I'd hoped someone from the Netherlands would know that Belgium is not an eastern european country :p WHAT? xD lol dat americans xD beats european casters in every way possibly imaginable -_-

Most of the people who were eliminated so far should have at least expected the very real threat of immediate elimination when deciding to travel there, I don't think it's a big shock to them. They had a chance, but for most players it wasn't very big. The groups are put together quite fair, if you are good, you should advance. If not, Dreamhack is probably a nice experience anyway.

Well, the imbalance does give Naama's victory even more worth if that's what you mean.
Honestly though you guys need to chill out.

well technically it's kind of double elimination, you more or less have to lose 2 games to be out of the tournament

Lol, i'll bite; if he would have known it to be Belgian he wouldn't named it Romanian and vice versa But i couldn't care less about Mr.Bitters fault, the man makes up for it in alot of player-knowledge, perhaps the most of all casters.
Its just too bad the lag induced this discussion, with 3 streams working properly all the viewers wouldn't have time to discuss geography/Mr. Bitter knowledge. Fix the lag, and lets get some game-discussion going rather than standard internet debate.

I thought he was referring to DH commercials.

Double elimination has a very specific connotation This is group play

These long breaks with a black screen are quite boring to say the least. I'm not very tempted to put up the stream when there's NOTHING going on at all.
Last year I was pretty impressed by the production quality of dreamhack. But now, with high quality productions like MLG and IPL, Dreamhack seems to fall behind..

Actually I was saying that I didn't mind him not knowing about the difference in flags, they are very similar, even I know that.
I was only commenting because you essentially called Belgium an eastern european country, which I thought was funny :p

You know it's a European tournament when 1/3 of the posts are about countries, flags etc. =D

If people actually talked about Orly, then everyone would know what country he is from and not have to rely on their knowledge of European flags.

People have good days and bad days, obviously. Haypro didn't play that well in the last game and was not succesful in scouting what Naamaa did unfortunately, that's what it all came down to.
