The fact that that many reapers were out and tgun's third was not established just blew my mind. I unfortunately did not catch the early part of the game where Ruff had built up the reapers. Probably not as unique as you'd think. Here is Incontrol's reaction to the same build at MLG vs Strifecro: + Show Spoiler +

Maybe thats just my perspective, but I guess I would rather get photos of my players moments of joy rather then their opponents teamates not so exciting moments. Normally when you get a lead from doing a great strategy you would stay on top of everything and have the opponent killed in the following 10 mins. He was slacking on his macro/micro/unit composition. I'd like to see Ruff invest some time into developing the later transitions in his game. His early-almost mid game is great and really hard to predict but after that he doesn't keep on the right path. If you want some evidence of what I'm speaking of you can think back to parts in the game where he had over 1000 minerals, which was around the 10 minute mark. And just taking 3 expands at the same time because he had so much money. Then he goes for battlecruisers. You could say " well why not go battlecruisers when you have the money to throw around " well that's true and it's awesome to go battlecruisers. The real problem is that there's no need purpose in bringing a game that's won to that point. It's just being lazy and sort of insulting to the other player (imo). I'm just a nub though

Then to post it on a major forum is even more .... I never would have looked at it from that perspective. To me, it's one of those things that you look back on and laugh about, but not in a deriding way, just a funny event that happened. Either way I meant no disrespect to any player or team.

I'm just a nub though I agree completely, but to be honest that game I was playing around. After I took the gold and natural and denied his third for the longest time. I could have either finished it like I normally do. Or just go crazy macro with mass BC's. I figured I would give people a show. But like I said, I completely agree when it comes to my other matches. The TvZ one was all fun, I was banking minerals to build mass BC's at once.

After my long break (Didn't play for 5 months between january and may) I completely forgot the build. However, after running into other cheesy situations against zerg players on xel'naga I managed to recall the build and refine it pretty tightly. I've been saving a lot of replays with different situations IE: baneling busts, roaches, macro, muta, and etc... based on the zergs transition. I play to make a post on the build. Even though I use this build 80% of the time that I play zerg. Many Terran players think it is a bad build because your not expanding fast enough. The reason behind this build are two things: 1. Zerg over drones and dies, 2. You force lings and no droning. By forcing no droning, everytime I review the replays I notice that I have a higher scv count than the zerg has a drone count at the 7-8 minute mark. So then if I double expand by the 9 minute mark, I am hardly behind at all, but more so ahead. The only problem with this build is that you are on bio the entire time. Where bio is actually not that great against zerg. However, you will always have the economic advantage, just micro your ass off! I actually gave quiet a bit of details here that I plan to post with a replay pack. There are 3 unique builds that I have found to be extremely successful when playing. TvT: 3 Reaper expand onto gold TvZ: 4 Rax Marine into reaper double expand TvP: Marine Medivac +1 combat stim All of these builds I created and no one uses them. The reason no one uses the TvT one is because its ballzy, however the only way you can lose is if they marauder rush you (However, I have heard from a vVv member that MMA used this build in the GSL and took this build from TSLPolt who took this build from me at MLG Orlando. I left an interesting impression on TSLPolt after our matches and a lot of members noticed that he liked the build and was smiling when he noticed it and was talking about it a lot) . The TvP and TvZ one you expand at 8-9 minutes, so people don't like it. However the TvZ one I already explained that the zerg can't drone so you aren't behind and the TvP one will punish some fast expands and deny all protoss cheeses. So Protoss who do not FE, will lose automaticly.
