Is anyone else getting a disgusting static feedback in the right sound channel on Katu's stream when he talks? Rollin a 200$ pair of headphones and its really puttin a thorn in my side....
So nice to see Zenex players making a strong showing. It's amazing that after all the people they've lost to other teams they're STILL rebuilding with some real talent.
This series between monster and parting reminds me of the mlg final leenock vs naniwa. parting like: "i can hold every nexus first vs cheeeeesse.!.... or not?"
Everyone hating on Monster .. but he has to play a ZvP in his GSL match. He's not gonna reveal his builds for a $100 tournament. Unfortunately a lot of players are in the same position as Monster.
I think the organizers should have invited players that don't play in GSL.

This tournament wasn't based on invites, it was based on previous performance in the KSL.

i guess not.
You must've missed the countless number of games he lost because he had no wall. I did not see what happened after the 12/14 push, but anyway allowing your opponent to scout your follow-up is painfully bad play, regardless of the win after (didn't understand the 8 spines thing, but then again I did not see what happened after the beginning).
Lol MKP won without walling-off? What a boss, his retard magnets of non-defense are quite funny. Seriously tho, when he is laddering I see him put bunkers sometimes, why doesn't he do it more often in competitive games? o_o
I really want to know mkp's thinking for not walling against a zerg. He loses so many games because of it. Lost to leenock in aol on dual sight because of it. Lost to violet in home story on dual sight as well. I can't think of any advantage he gains by not walling off against zergs.
I'm a huge mkp fan, but he has a real stubborn way of playing with refusing to improve on his flaws, such as no walls, not making bunkers and limited scouting.
Sorry, I copied the last KSL thread and only changed the players. Since VirgilSC2 was the only one giving attention to KSL for LR threads I think it´s ok to give him credit...
If the layout was from you, I´m sorry, it was in a rush since there was no thread at 2300 KSL when the match started.

Lol! I'm kidding I'm kidding
Yes, KSL threads are run by Virgil, so giving him credit is COMPLETELY necessary. I do it as well
But this thread, the layout was done by me. That's all I'm saying

Mixing it up is better for your playstyle in the long run though. If you're going to wall off every time you gasless/CC-first expand, then you're going to get attacked everytime.
By walling off in certain games and not doing it in others, you're throwing the opponent off and everytime they see no wall, they're forced to take a risk which ends up with them just winning the game outright or sacrificing their entire army.

Consider the fact that they're playing online and it's just a few games every night, and it's quite worth it. These players practise for about 8-12 hours a day and this only takes 1-2 hours for them (it's good practise as well).
Can someone confirm me that MKP won? Why is everyone saying he should wall if he won without? In which games did he do the non wall thing? Gonna see this by myself because I don't understand why it was bad not to if he won in the end

Yep 3-1. Didn't wall off in any of the games and got punished for it. Fortunately he already did enough damage with his opener in most cases to neglect the run by damage.
