He had Nightend contained on 3 bases for so long, if he sieges Nightend 3 bases with BL / Infestor before Nightend can break out and take a 4th or 5th he wins. It was just bad. That's the difficulty with going mutas, it takes a while to transition out of them. NightEnD wasn't really contained, he never even tried to move out, because he knew he didn't need to. All he needed to do was make it to 200/200, and that Zenio's hive transition would be difficult because he went mutas. His harass with the warp prism wasn't stellar at first, but it did the job, and gave NightEnD enough time to assert himself. Zenio didn't have a huge opportunity to go broodlords, if he had, he would've needed to morph them back home, lose two bases, and then find some way to push across the map really slowly.

Zenio was also banking 3k minerals/gas which isn't very ideal.

It was just bad. i agree there is basically a couple of ways the game will go after mutas a) protoss turtles on 2 base and gets late 3 -> you are ahead in macro and tech -> repeatedly thrust your roaches at him or mass infested terrans over wall of at natural/third and then fly in with mutas / siege base with BL and some infestors b) protoss takes quicker third and loses tons of probes -> you stabilize and are ahead in macro -> same as a zenio also didn't creep spread with zergling/baneling/ultra and didnt ever use baneling drops into army, which of course would be hard but he didnt even try it on the mineral lines with one sacrifice overlord for the cannons and if he wanted to use ultras so badly, at least keep the colossi away with a couple of corrupters over the huge cliffs beside 3rd bases and use neural on archons (which is sick good)

Dude we all know there are only two ways to play Protoss: - Cheesy one base/two base all-in. - Boring turtle death ball style. Both styles require no micro and game understanding. Just ask Idra!
