Bling is from Cornwall, Demuslim is from Nottingham

BlinG practices on EU, converses with the best foreigner daily.
DeMu aka "The Excuse Maker" plays NA ladder with his girlfriend squeaking into his ear.
My money is on BlinG. The only thing going for DeMu is his precocious talent, even though it is the most wasted in rts gaming history.

Which is why it is a bit of a silly name :/ If one was from Yorkshire, and the other from Lancashire then it would be very fitting. I guess it gets the foreign fans a bit more interested, to have a grand old name :D
I think BlinG should have this, he has put up decent performances in recent times, Demuslim has achieved greater things, but not of late.

Ah, of course. I completely agree, breaking your arm (twice), ripping open your elbow, and being sent out of the country is nothing that should have ever stood in the way of DeMuslim being able to play in american tournaments.
As for his girlfriend, given comments like this, and chat on his stream, all I can think is that an awful lot of very self entitled nerds would be bigger "fans" of demuslim if he were unhappy and single. Get real. Even in the EG streamed practice sessions, DeMuslim has been absolutely crushing almost every game, and he's going to the Up and Downs next. I'd say thats hardly "wasted".

The guy has shown his talent on more than one occasion, MLG Raleigh (beating ret and trickster) for example. And you've probably also missed Eg's training-sessions where he plays against Koreans and some of the highest tier American players.
Anyone who doesn't think that they are evenly matched is delusional. Also, BlinG's games against Kas yesterday shows that he isn't unbeatable.

You sir, were obviously not a wc3 fan.
You want me to reel off the list of excuses DeMu has spouted over the months/ years? I wont because hes a cool guy and a freakin talented player, but there are a LOT.
The fact hes got a girlfriend is cool (obviously) and having her on his stream makes the stream even more enjoyable (shes pretty), but is practice as healthy when you have your girl squeaking, singing, chatting in your ear? No.
Hes like a Bugatti running on out of date beer. He needs to grow a pair and GET IT DONE. Otherwise England are never going to have a sc2 pro to cheer on at major events!

He's missed SO MANY tournaments last year, due to illness, injury, and flight arrangements going wrong. It's more than just bad luck by now, no other player has had so many cancellations.

No. I think the nerd is a good bloke, sound as a pound.
Seen the training sessions, thats training. Tourny results have been poor, im sorry.
I've been a fan of demu since like... 06'? Hes copped out.
edit: IdrA's philosophy on work ethic.

BlinG is not exactly a top EU protoss, and that's the only reason I'm not completely convinced that he will win this. I still think BlinG has the upper hand, he's been improving a lot and just moved to the Millenium house as well. Maybe Tarson can show him some tricks about beating terran.
The only thing keeping Demuslim relevant these days are his rabid fanboys, sadly enough.

Bling is good but I think DeMuslim's got this. And Woah thats a lot of money for a 1v1 showmatch.

its today guys! :D cant wait

gogo demu! show him the devil terran

Awesome, been hoping to see these two battle it out for a while now, both good fellas, sadly I will have to settle for VODs as I'm in Hong Kong atm and it happens at 3am =[
Trying to think who I am rooting for but I like them both so can't decide. I guess my heart will let me know when I'm watching :D
Nice event John, keep up the good work

DeMu has this hands down :D 5-2
|
DeMuslim's such a nerd baller. Good luck to both of you!

Ben is the better player but he hasn't won anythink for a long long time...
Its ridiculous that a player with his talent is so long without a championship tbh.
hope Bling can give him a good match.
GL HF LADS!

Man so much hate for DeMuslim in this thread. Earlier I said that it was going to DeMuslim, however after seeing Bling play Kas(?) the other day if he tightens up this small errors in PvT he'll have this easily

Is it winner takes it all?

Hell, was about time!
I like both players so, may the best man win. Can't wait, I'm hoping for a very long and drawn out series.

Can't wait! massive fan of UK esports and both of these players, but I'm gonna have to root for BlinG as I love an underdog :D
