My money is on BlinG. The only thing going for DeMu is his precocious talent, even though it is the most wasted in rts gaming history. Word! I think there may be some truth in what your saying actually. Hell, even his (DeMuslim) own teammate (Idra) said you cant really be a pro and have a gf at the same time, not if you want to compete with the best.

The guy has shown his talent on more than one occasion, MLG Raleigh (beating ret and trickster) for example. And you've probably also missed Eg's training-sessions where he plays against Koreans and some of the highest tier American players. Anyone who doesn't think that they are evenly matched is delusional. Also, BlinG's games against Kas yesterday shows that he isn't unbeatable. No. I think the nerd is a good bloke, sound as a pound. Seen the training sessions, thats training. Tourny results have been poor, im sorry. I've been a fan of demu since like... 06'? Hes copped out. edit: IdrA's philosophy on work ethic.
hucklero care to put your money where your mouth is? Side bet?

"Who is the best British Starcraft 2 player?"

I really don't know who's gonna take this. Bling is definitely up and coming and has done well recently. But I've always liked Demuslim (even back in warcraft 3) and I know he has great potential in sc2 and has already proven that he can play incredibly well. I've seen nothing of him for over 2 months though. Did he compete in some smaller NA tournaments that I didn't follow or something?

iNcontroL your testicular fortitude is larger than mine, ive never been a betting man (outside of metaphorically). And besides, im at base on my laptop without my paypal details (an excuse, the irony).
Anyone seeing my posts on this thread as hate for DeMu are mistaken. If anything it is encouragement and its born through frustration AND JEALOUSY (a fine, fine, fine young filly). I wish to see him at many tournies this year, sweating blood.

Looking at the odds from Pinnacle, this would be a good bet if you get 1:1 odds on Demuslim.
Demuslim has been played way below expectations lately (lost 0-3 to Illusion and 0-3 to Violet in the IEM qualifier). I think that TvP is his best matchup now though. It's really hard to pick a favorite here, a lot of pride is at stake. Can't wait!

I really want DeMuslim to win, as a Terran.
But, I feel Bling is on fire at the moment.
Heart says DeMuslim Brain says Bling
|
I feel like demuslim should rape rape but I hope bling surprises me and it goes to an awesome last game
|
Demuslim should just get his ass to the Slayers house in Korea and become a total boss.
|
Bling got this 5-0 or 5-1.
|
The outcome of this Bo9 is so unpredictable, I feel like it could be 5-0 either way.

Just bothered me when someone takes ladder practice and goes "well bling plays EU and Demu plays NA so bling wins"
Demu spends most of the day playing customs with the best of the best.. and when he ladders he splits between NA and EU where he dominates equally. Bling is an amazing player but basing a clear favorite on where they ladder is a huge mistake.
In any case <3 ty for being a gent about the challenge !

Pulling for Demuslim to kick some ass!! He has had a lot of really awesome streams lately, and I think he has been getting enough time in to get his mechanics really sharp again. And when Demuslim is sharp, it is my opinion he is one of the two best foreigner terrans, period.
Either way awesome Showmatch and I am grateful to all parties involved for making this fine entertainment happen.
