Right as he used all his larva on drones, Sheth counter attacked him and killed his lings, leaving sheth with about 15 lings to idra's drones and queens. I don't think it was nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.

ZvZ is a horrible match up. If you get banes into the enemies base, it's pretty much GG.
And people that go "Sheth is soo good!", I for one am really disappointed that there was not more from him. Not trying to go for a longer game or anything, no, just run in and end it.
Since it is like that, I am going to say if it would have been a Macro game VS Idra, he would have lost, which is why he did it.
I don't think you understand Starcraft at all, if you think Sheth was the one making that game end early.
Well, after the attack on Machine's drones, what else was he supposed to do?
If you mean Idra's game, yeah we all know Idra. I knew how that was gonna end.

who was "ilikeotters" ? That guy knew it was over, poor machine, left alone to face the wrath of Sheth's good manners!

On February 22 2012 11:19 The KY wrote: So...what did IdrA actually do? Was it just leave the game early? Idra just started a larvae inject full of drones when sheth decided to attack with lings. He had no way of responding to that so he left before the lings got to his base.

Alex Garfield, CEO of EG.

Yeah same, saw liquid people start tweeting about it before the start, meanwhile nothing from EG

Who cares about Cross-Server Lag..
Its a league where you play against Europeans, Americans and Koreans. Everyone has to live with that lag, not just EG.

On February 22 2012 11:19 The KY wrote: So...what did IdrA actually do? Was it just leave the game early? Yeah, but he was pretty well behind. I'm not one to make excuses for him, but he was dead. People think he left early because he was like 5 drones ahead or something, but he was I think 7 supply behind, which meant he was ~20ish lings behind and I don't think he had a spine either.

Ugggggg why do people continue to post shit like this. i've always been ambivalent to idra.. but stuff like that in a team game when you're already down and the team is looking to him as presumably one of their most experienced players.. 'fucking scumbag' is incredibly inappropriate though.

He left game when Sheth had 15 lings and IdrA had zero lings but IdrA could have easily pulled drones and/or blocked the ramp and had a spine crawler at his natural.
1 queen and drones can delay long enough for more lings to come out.
Also i believe IdrA had a baneling and about 4-6 more workers than Sheth.

Why bother playing long and exhausting games, when you can just crush dem scrubs in the early game?

EG is so much better than liquid but can't showcase it in team leagues. You have a bit of a point with the lag, but nobody is going to take you seriously when you express yourself like such a fanboy. when liquid didnt want to deal with lag they didnt agree to enter leagues, so it was a non issue. if you enter the league you agree to put up with its conditions. sheth just outplayed everyone tonight, no excuses. That doesn't make any sense. Agreeing to put up with a disadvantage doesn't mean it isn't a disadvantage...it just means that you're willing to put up with it for a chance at overcoming that disadvantage. your just arguing my point for me. if EG are willing to put up with it, so should the fan boys. Again, putting up with it doesn't make the disadvantage go away. It's not excuse, it's a fact that cross-server lag is bad. Remember TSL3? When Goody beat Nestea and AdelScott beat MVP playing cross-server? You wouldn't call that an even playing field, corect? Goody and Adelscott weren't definitively better players, but they were good enough players to win with that advantage. My point isn't that it's *unfair* for EG to have to play in bad conditions given that they agreed to those conditions. My point IS that it is completely asinine to try to draw any kind of conclusions about which team is better based on these results. I'm addressing the torrent of people screaming, "wow, EG's so pathetic for getting AK'd by Sheth!" You don't know if micro was a factor, maybe Sheth was just superior in every one of those games. The only facts we have to draw conclusions from is that Sheth all-killed EG. Was it lag? Was it superior play? Who knows for sure, but saying, 'It was laggy, that's why EG lost' is stupid. I don't know Sheth played really good every time I watched a game from him in the couple last weeks - on the other hand EG didn't even seem to really try to win a game in any of the both teamleagues.

Grats on the Sheth AK. I think EG's lavish mansion lifestyle might be affecting their members' drive to play well, but it's even affected their Korean-based guys as well.
