Just a word on Idra; people need to stop claiming he ragequits all his games, he was mannered and typed "GG", this is as bad as when people claimed he over-droned when he cuts production. You don't need to make stuff up just so you can rage at a player you dislike. Also people have very short memories in this community, you do well in live events a few months back and then all of a sudden you are never any good.
Get a grip guys and gals (and no I am not a fan boy)
it's not that he's bm in how he leaves, it's that he has a (long) history of leaving games the moment he goes a little bit behind rather than trying to play for a comeback..
And that MMA game :D the moment he thinks he's a little behind would be more suitable imo.

He left game when Sheth had 15 lings and IdrA had zero lings but IdrA could have easily pulled drones and/or blocked the ramp and had a spine crawler at his natural.
1 queen and drones can delay long enough for more lings to come out.
Also i believe IdrA had a baneling and about 4-6 more workers than Sheth.
So he would lose all his drones to the lings? He just finished a production cycle of drones too... The game was over.
No it wasn't i've won games in ZvZ masters with 6-7 drones left against a player on 1 base with 15+ Drones you just out-micro them and you can win.
Also IdrA had more drones than Sheth. IdrA could block the ramp with queens IdrA could use many of his drones to hold off Sheths 15 Lings before IdrA hatches more lings and i believe he still had a baneling.
IdrA definitely was not in an unwinnable position.
I've won ZvZ's with huge drone disadvantages before and know exactly how IdrA could have possibly won the game.
Idra's baneling detonated... Also note that Idra HATES playing from behind, which is mainly why he decided to all-in in the first place once he scouted Sheth's hatch first.
Just to note IdrA had more drones than Sheth at the time . He wasn't actually behind by that much other than army supply.
You'd be surprised how easily you can defend against 15 ling to delay for reinforcements with just a queen or two and some drones.
He had no larva left, sheth would have killed most of his drones by the time he got enough zerglings out
The last time i checked 15 lings doesnt kill 34 drones and a spine crawler and 2 queens.
Look there's no reason to debate this alright? The game's finished already, there's no need for us to theorycraft back and forth on what could have happened if Idra had stayed in the game. You're entitled to your opinion, and we are entitled to ours.

ZvZ is a horrible match up. If you get banes into the enemies base, it's pretty much GG.
And people that go "Sheth is soo good!", I for one am really disappointed that there was not more from him. Not trying to go for a longer game or anything, no, just run in and end it.
Since it is like that, I am going to say if it would have been a Macro game VS Idra, he would have lost, which is why he did it.

Dude the scrubs you play against are no where near Sheth's level. He was 99 percent dead.

It kills enough of them to put IdrA at a severe disadvantage

No... not even close...
Since everyone's saying "he was only 7 supply down and had 6 more workers" that means sheth had 13 more army supply. Since it was only ling/baneling out, that means 26 ling/bane more, and I was watching the production tab, so I know he had just finished morphing 6 banelings.
That means he had 20 lings more than idra, and 6 banelings Not to mention that sheth's production round had just finished. The spine crawler would take out 2-3 lings before it died, and that wouldn't stall enough for lings. The queen would've gone down without any more ling kills. By now, he has 17 lings, and 6 banelings, against 30 drones or something. I'm guessing you don't play zerg but the lings would've been forced to attack half at a time. 1st the ones from the natural, then the ones from the main. Also he couldn't have gotten more than 12 or so, this would've MAYBE taken down 4-5 lings. By the time he could've gotten more lings out, his crawler and queen would've gone down without a problem, and should he engage with all his drones too, they would've all died easily.
This is super obvious from looking at the situation, how are you people not getting this?
IdrA still had a good chance of staying in the game there's no way you can argue that.
He just quit because he was enraged at Lag or because he hates playing from behind or was frustrated after not killing Sheth right away with the ling pressure.
He was ahead economically though and could have easily defended and stayed in the game i still failing to see how i'm getting quite a few responses arguing otherwise i've had many experience in ZvZ's at the mid-high masters level.
If you want to say he was going to lose that for sure you are pretty much in denial he just basically left a game he still had a good chance in.

Because it's fun to yell when everyone else does it.
idra still had a bane an sheth didn't, unless i just imagined his bane and few ling >.>. Guess i will go for the rebroadcast now, its fast anyway. and will just watch the corner of the screen and see what happened to that baneling xD.
But the drone round isn't even important, he had no place to morph banelings safely. And without a money bane there wouldn't have been any chance to get back into the game.
About the lag issue, there are enough i have lag builds that work, of course they aren't that effective, but atleast you don't die in the early game and have a chance to win.

Yes, go take your 'mid-high masters level' ZvZ and play against Sheth in that position. Do tell us how you do.

He was facing IdrA not me i'm just giving my analysis on it; not saying i could win it. But IdrA was not out of that game. He had a chance.
You can be in Denial but i believe he had a quite a good chance of still stabilising given the situation. Too bad he seems to be just his old self! pre-mature gg'ing ...
