The EG website had some sort of exploit embedded in it.

Go Vile! Can't believe that Fnatic didn't play aLive.

No Rain, aLive, or Byul. Odd, but understandable.

Vile 3-1, with Hashe losing.

You think State & DdoRo are favored vs ToD and Moon? Really? Interesting ^_^

3-1 fnatic with departure losing. other matchups should be relatively easy for fnatic.

State is actually pretty good, took out 2 of TSL's Zergs in the IPL TAC. Moon's a legend, but his play is still a bit shaky during his match with Clide. It's a close one in my opinion.
The other game is a PvP.
|
3-1 Fnatic
It's hard to say which one on Fnatic will lose cause i could see the first three games going either way. However, I think Nightend is a fairly clear favorite over Hashe. Looking forward to it though! I'm glad Fnatic isn't always relying on aLive =)
|
Illusion to crush Departure, Ddoro to possible beat ToD since Ddoro managed to make it to winter arena, he deserves some credit.
State's okay, and Moon is not very good. NightEnD to win his.
2-2? Alive pulled in for final ace?

Departure's race on the main page is different than within the spoiler tags. Z or P?

HasHe is the underdog but isn't that always the story with vile before they prove they actually are really really good?

I love State but I think Moon is going to beat him. ZvP seems to be the only matchup that Moon is really good at.
I would love for State to prove me wrong though.

The EG website has been down for a couple days now, anyone know what's up?

ToD > DdoRo DeParture < Illusion Moon < State NightEnD > HasHe aLive>Illusion
3-2 For fnatic but i can see any result not being surprising 4-0 included, all the matches gonna be awesome :D

They've both won just as many games as Moon and ToD in this tournament.

And a lot less everywhere else (at least in tournaments that matter).
State is decent but beating Moon would still be an upset.

How have you not seen DdoRo win anything? He always owns face at MLGs. He made it into pool play at Orlando and made the championship bracket at the recent Winter Championship, and made it to Round 2 of the Losers Bracket at the overly stacked Winter Arena.
State isn't quite as accomplished, but both of them are consistently better than Moon, who is still an enormous wildcard.

I don't think you can say that, I'd even say Moon has consistently shown better results than any of them. Yes, he played really bad games lately, but in all the tournaments he played in before joining Fnatic, he achieved impressive results. Neither State nor Ddoro come even close to having similar accomplishments to Moon's in SC2.
But that doesn't mean much for these games.

What? Moon practiced in Korea and got demolished at Assembly. You can't say that about him with his recent results.

Fnatic should win pretty easily. While Vile's team is nothing to sneeze at, they are the underdogs in this league (along with aTn too.)

Illusion wouldn't leave the game kept fighting even though the game was easily over so he started morphing banelings in illusions base, and morphed 8 banelings around a sieged tank lol. Over reacting by him it really wasn't that bm.

He was building banelings in his base for like 10 minutes... I'd be pissed.
Edit: Anyway, Departure is very fun to watch. Just covers the entire map, sets up spores and spines everywhere, really just starved out his opponent.

I've seen pros do this, because they wanted their banelings to be quicker at the enemy. Anyway, it's more legit than manner mules...

haha yeah for some reason manner mules are fine, but morphing banelings aren't

Would you say the same to a someone like Nada or Boxer, asking them to end their careers? Moon is a legend in WC3, and he has incredible RTS talent. Hopefully he can find his groove in SC2 soon.

thats the point.
ToD and Moon were WC3 legends, but not BW legends like NaDa and Boxer, so their mechanics will differ from each other
imo some are made for WC3 while others better get used to the playstyle of SC2, but if I pay like 3000 $ to a player that _just doesnt get it_ I would talk with him, and come to a conclusion, whats best for him and the management.
Maybe too early to decide now, but Moon should get up there till Summer season or else he will never, cause 6 months was enough time to adjust.

Good thing you're not a manager.
It's not easy to quit something you've been doing for most of your adult life. And if Moon thinks he can continue to compete he will continue doing so. Until he can find something else which makes him happy/gives him a better income, it's not your right to say that he should retire.
As for Fnatic, they've probably got a 6 month of 1 year contract with him and if he's not performing after that, then yeah sure, don't renew the contract. But cutting him now, just because he's not been performing is just stupid. And Fnatic have top tier managers in Korea who speak the language and know Moon. I'm fairly sure they've gone over expectations and how to get the most value from him.

then for the x.xxx $ salary bring in Polt and do some massive damage in teamleagues Would you say the same to a someone like Nada or Boxer, asking them to end their careers? Moon is a legend in WC3, and he has incredible RTS talent. Hopefully he can find his groove in SC2 soon. thats the point. ToD and Moon were WC3 legends, but not BW legends like NaDa and Boxer, so their mechanics will differ from each other imo some are made for WC3 while others better get used to the playstyle of SC2, but if I pay like 3000 $ to a player that _just doesnt get it_ I would talk with him, and come to a conclusion, whats best for him and the management. Maybe too early to decide now, but Moon should get up there till Summer season or else he will never, cause 6 months was enough time to adjust. When you say something like that and then have that signature, I cannot help but shed a tear. It disgusts me that a person as clueless as you dare to call yourself a fan of Moon. Especially considering the reasons why Moon is where he is now.
If you had any clue at all you'd not be saying things like that. Moon has his issues, most of them related to making good follow-ups to his initial plans, but suggesting that he should retire (so Fnatic can get Polt, LOL) is honestly ridiculous.
