Interesting... I doubt it means much, but we'll see..... HUK and TLO fighting!
Well I remember HuK losing to BRAT_OK in the final match of his division, largely because he looked so uncomfortable on the first map (surprise, surprise, it was Shattered Temple). Additionally HuK never plays in EG team leagues because the lag from KR to EU and whatnot is so bad for him. So I think Strelok will take this if he just does timing attacks.
Ganzi > Sen HuK < Strelok Mana > Vibe Axslav < TLO
I have some feedbacks after watching these games in season 3.
The good: -stage looks more professional -casters in a suit makes it look legit -seems like you got good sponsoers
Need Improvement: You guys seriously need to get some music in these shows. Look at the GSL or ESPN, when the game ends, music explodes into the scene. When the camera opens and the caster welcomes the viewers, there's music in the background. Without such entrance and exit theme songs, the show is very monotonous and seem unprofessional. Go hire a sound mixer/DJ and get some tracks in, comon even MLG does this and they make their own songs.
Everyone is seriously underestimating ViBE. He is a beast and he is playing Mana in his worst matchup. I predict 2-1 upset there.
Ganzi 2-1 Sen Huk 2-0 Strelok ViBE 2-1 Mana <<Everyone seriously underestimating ViBE. He is a beast and he is playing Manas worst matchup. TLO 2-1 Axlav <<Who knows what might happen, depends on if TLO improved his ZvP which I'm guessing he has to have.

Yeah, Mana's PvZ is certainly lacking, however I think he's better than Vibe enough so that even his worst matchup will have a pretty good shot. Vibe could win, but I'd say Mana has a better shot.
Getting Bitterdam was suuuuch a good choice by NASL, their casting is good, but their chemistry and patter is awesome. Also, being live is amazing! Also (again), Shattered Temple!? COME ON, thats terrible.

hmm idk. Actually, where even is Sen right now? In taiwan?
I'm pretty sure they are playing on NA. Sen is in Taiwan.
wtf, that's really goofy, its just bad for the players. Also, poor kingston for sponsoring such a bad match.
But, bar the server sillyness and the silly map, this is actually awesome. Great casters, better refinement, good players, live games, etc. Its good stuff.

Shattered Temple Gretorp Edition
No Gold, no armour on the 'ex gold' rocks.
Oh cool, that actually kind of makes shattered an OK map. Not that great, but the biggest problem with it was getting a reasonable quick 3rd. But if it's possible to grab that base, it might be a viable tournament map.
Edit: I misread that and thought there were no rocks, mah bad. Less bad map but still bad.
Bitter is so quiet today and in-game sound is louder then he is, hope they fix it because I can't hear what he is saying when there is combat going on... sound guy strikes again!
Terrible play from both sides :/. Ganzi with 0 micro and unable to find his siege shortcut, and sen with the 'solid' moonglade strategy. How about playing games with 2 people closest to the korean server on the actual korean server.

This, a thousand times over.
They can use a relocaliser so that there's the English version sounds, and easily switch between them between games if they want, or have a second SC2 client installed. It's ezpz, I hope they look into it.

We are looking into it. However there are many things we need to do in order to pull this off.

Sen's early game is still 15 hatch and die trying.

It would be fine even with Korean sounds in the meantime. Just adds an exotic air.

First time seeing season 3 of NASL and I have to ask... What is up with the overlay? The screen feels really cluttered and messy. It's like trying to watch the game with half my monitor covered up. Tough to look at. :-/

Notice there were 3 blink stalkers building from regular gateways and there were 5 gates out that were regular gateways. He forgot warpgate for a good 2 minutes.
Poor strategy choices by HuK. Why would he choose to do a gateway allin on a map where he has to charge up a tiny ramp instead of on the map with no ramp at the natural. Likewise, Ohana has a very blink and warp in friendly main base.
EDIT: Not to take away from strelok, he played really well, and I'm happy for him
Anyone thats ever seen huk play in NASL knows this is no surprise. He cant stand playing online leagues hence why you never see him in any team league matches.
that happens when protoss starts to play offensive random shit and do not stick to regular macro games with charge/psi or colossi as their first tech path
HuK hates EU-KR cross-server, and all his closest games last NASL were against European players. Add in the fact that he stinks against terran on Shattered Temple, and this wasn't too hard to predict.

Watch, he'll win against the Koreans if he gets to play on the Korean server XD
Huk has been outspoken in the past about playing with lag. I dont think he took these gams to seriously. I dont knw hoverer why he chose blink for first game since its a micro intesive strat.

Heard several times that the delay from Russia / Ukraine to NA is at least as bad as from Korea to NA. So I dont think this should be used as an excuse.

As far as I understand he doesnt have more latency. But he just can't deal with it that well as others.

Obviously latency is going to hurt more the player who is used to having top 3 control.
okay that was a joke, but what I meant is that HuK obviously sees micro as one of his biggest strengths, so latency should seem (seem) especially hard to him because of that.

While I understand all the comments, and I agree, but I believe that it wasn't back to NA. It was whatever server they decided to play on.

He had to, otherwise the nexus was going down. And the mothership wasn't going to help in that case, need to wait until vortex, so it was no point anyway.
seems like vibe could have won alot more comfortably if he saturated his bases a bit better. he had those hatches up for so long and no drones at them.

But if he loses his army then there won't be anything to protect the nexus anyway. Maybe he could've taken his fourth across from his third, then at least he could force Vibe's army out of position to kill it.

Not so sure on this, Vibe's usually pretty hardcore when it comes to droning up, I think he was trying to free up supply to have an unkillable Zerg deathball, at least that'd be my guess
I love the beginning game banter its sometimes bad but never bad bad only good bad like when MrBitter said he goes to the gym to knock Bitterdams teeth out lol

Dang TLO you need help on your PvZ play a LOT against HerO brother!
Man how good would Axslav be if he cancelled so much of that stuff? Axslav if you worked on your APM you could seriously be a money winner in more tournaments!

Yeah, although Hero plays a very different style relying on multitasking, which TLO is also good at. Perhaps that kind of splitting of armies vs other split armies would be something Dario would be good at, conversely not so good against a defensive/deathball kind of style?
Glad you guys enjoyed it, we had a ton of fun too, pretty good games, can't wait for tomorrow, Thorzain vs Alicia opener is so sick, idra cruncher next, best stuff ^^, going to be gooood

Yeah and he just doesn't try half as hard when he gets the slightest bit of lag. I can't honestly blame him. He needs to be 100% efficient which means you cant be used to playing online with lag without it affecting your no-lag play.
I wanna go in here to say I'm a big fan of the NASL Antiga Shipyard. I've been thinking for awhile that every map where Blizzard has been putting gold bases would not just be better as normal minerals, but 6m/1hyg or any variation of lower minerals. Glad to see I wasn't totally off-base in thinking this.
Gotta say, this new season is looking really good, esp. with Bitterdam. Also Axslav was a lot better there than I remember him. Had pretty damn fast and accurate ffs.
