I still think it's probably important for viewers to understand what they are seeing and how the process of drawing for groups works. 100% transparency regarding the process will help I think.

That's pretty awesome. One of the biggest weaknesses of group play is exactly how groups are formulated and the transparency by which that process occurs.

You didn't think we would forget about our SoCal heroes did you? Introducing our 3rd invited player... xSixMystik Photo Carlton Beener xSixMystik has been a mainstay of the Southern California SC2 circuit, winning or placed highly in nearly every regional LAN in greater Los Angeles. He has had a strong run in the MLG Columbus open bracket last year, defeating notable players such as DeMusliM, Stalife, and TT1. At the Dolby $1000 SC2 Open, he successfully defended his home turf against teammate and Korean Pro-gamer Sleep in an intense 3-2 final series, taking home the $600 top prize. We are pleased that Mystik accepted his GESL invitation and look forward to have him represent Southern California as the home town hero. Spectator pass is now available for $15. To receive a free GESL event shirt, additional raffle entries, and additional bonuses, registering online!

We shouldn't have to introduce this guy, because you've probably already heard of him coL.qxc Photo Zhang Jingna One of the best Terrans in North America since the Brood War era. In StarCraft 2, he remains the only Foreigner to all-kill a Korean team - taking out Incredible Miracle (including the three-time GSL Champion IMmvp) in GSTL Season 1 - an achievement matched only by Legionnaire from Brood War circa 2003. coL.qxc has what it takes to compete with the best of them. Graduating in May from Harvey Mudd College, the GESL will be his return to prominence. Kevin Riley is putting the bandana on and getting back in the ring to reclaim his title of the All-American Terran. Spectator pass is now available for $15.
