Right now it seems that, at best, 5 foreigners will go through. If 2 are lucky enough to be matched against each other, we might see one in quarterfinals T.T I truly hope to be proven wrong, especially if I'm proven wrong by beasty or demu. Golden, the one Korean who ladders on NA, is the only Korean to even drop a map to a foreigner so far.

So for a matchup of 2 foreigners, one has to get second at least. Maybe Beastyqt or Demuslim. (EU for the rescue)

The problem with the American scene since the beta has been that they emphasise hype/pr over practise and protecting the talents. Remember after beta we heard so much about the NA players but allmost nothing from the EU players. Same with Stephano he was allmost completly unknown for the NA fans until he won IPL 3. the NA scene needs to change from popularity/hype into an result oriented scene and then I think we will see some results. But atm they are so fare behind everyone els and it might be an idea to simple protect them from any koreans and EU players. they need there own scene with only NA players and then build some infrastructure where they can develop young NA players

That's exactly my point. The skill gap is so big when comparing with the Koreans that if Americans don't have their own tournaments the American SC2 pro scene will soon be dead. PS: I'm not American.
