NA scene sucks lately.
Even our flagship players/teams are struggling as of late (Idra + non korean EG lineup) even the guys that did well in recent WCS USA, (Vibe, Daisuki, Insur) all still question marks in terms of consistency or potential to beat koreans...
I think there are tons of good but not great NA players. Lots of players with potential, few who are actually there right now.
Meanwhile EU scene has 20 players easy who can compete with koreans imo. In general there are more "good" NA players but EU holds the "great" lead by a pretty wide margin it feels like.

LOL seeing and hearing an asian guy with an english accent is weird. He has a good broadcasting voice and his commentating is good though. me like.

Thanks! DoA and I now taking a much needed rest. Maybe more later! That was an excellent series.

Demuslim constantly loses battles because he over stims.

I have more hope for NA than I did before. Scarlett, Illusion, daisuki, Insur, jEcho, Hawk; already more international class players coming up than we had all of last year, I think!

poor decision making, giving away free medivacs all game... always go for the army/production in a base race, it doesnt matter if he has more money if he cant produce anything and you have a vastly bigger army ><. To bad, cause I think he could have won otherwise.
|
Throwing away 6 medivacs completely changed that game. . . Demuslim should NOT be misrallying at his level

Cautious optimism is how I'm feeling, too. We have a lot of players who look like they have loads of potential, but we're not really sure.

Whoever was casting with Axel did a very nice job (along with axel). Enjoyed the Demuslim vs Tails cast very much. Nice job you two. I am very impressed with all the casters, actually. Well done.

There are plenty of strong NA players, right now everyone in NA is developing and improving rapidly, and in the next 5 months or so I think we will start to see some new NA talent up there.

I'm really digging Jorosar's casting. not a lot of aaahhh and ummms and he doesn't try to overhype shit during the game. seems very professional. hearing casters say "beautiful splits" "beautiful micro" when his army is getting stormed to death and losing the battle makes me cringe. "beatiful forcefields" when the protoss has a bunch of sentries and spamming forcefields makes my head shake too.

I wouldn't have thought so, but you're probably more familiar with them^^

Axslav just went full foreigner

Liking the Doa and Azael combo (Doazael?). As a bonus, they look like they could be brothers.

On that note, has a Korean lost versus a foreigner in this tournament?

Damn it Demuslim, stop cheesing. You've got some pretty strong macro and standard.
