I don't think it'll be a 4-0. Heck, with two ZvZ matches it could even go with an ace mach (Vibe and Ostogiy are both pretty good ZvZ and I haven't seen Min in forever and haven't been impressed with Miya).

I don't think it's underestimating... rather, a fair comparison to SlayerS. It would absolutely be an upset if It's Gosu wins.
But based on your name, you may very well be on that team, so possibly thanks for the spoiler
I think ViBE might beat Min at least. ViBE is pretty good at ZvZ and Min did not look very impressive against IdrA when they played, although that was a long time ago.
Ostojiy is a very good Zerg player, I wouldn't be surprised to see him take his series. If MMA is still terrible against Protoss(hadn't seen him play one in awhile) then I think Hwangsin will beat him. This could very well go to an ace match, could be interesting.

MMA is mediocre in his TvP against top Korean players like Oz, Squirtle, MC, etc, but he is still able to beat most foreign Protosses save for only the best. I don't think Hwangsin is favored, but it could be close and an upset is definitely possible.

Obviously StarTale has the best team atm.
yes, startale or slayers are beter, i know many would say prime but they have 3 hitters really, Maru GhostKing and MKP
Gotta assume after being beaten by Squirtle twice in such a short period of time, MMA has been practicing TvP a lot. This will be some more practice, I think he'll do well.

Once TLO and Ret arrive in Korea, oGsTL takes that honor.

oGs-TL is one of the weakest Korean teams these days. Although the acquisition of Taeja helps them quite a bit. They lack a genuinely S class player though to ace for them.
Prime and MVP are the best two teams with Startale and FXO just behind and Slayers/oGs after that.
I get people love to see the underdog win and are trying to come up with reasons why they'll lose like "oh it's vs. Protoss" or "It's ZvZ" but it's Slayers and MMA. There is pretty much no chance of Slayers not 4-0ing or at worst 3-1ing Gosu. It's not like Gosu is top tier foreigners anyway, I love um but they have no shot against slayers.

Probably, but there has only been 1 team that has won multiple GSTL titles, and that is Slayers. Yes I'm a Slayers fan :p

Nice choice starting off when Slayers is playing, but unfortunately today is a single caster day. So much more entertaining when they have InControl in there as well.
lol music suprised me too hah. but i really was not expecting vibe to win that series.. quick question, does boxer still play tournaments and stuff? like is he active?

Yes he still plays, although he recently dropped out of a tournament because his shoulder (I think?) has been bothering him and he is going to take some time off for that.

He recently forfeited his Code A slot in order to rehab his shoulder. So he'll probably be out of commission for a while.

I know right, it almost feels strange to have a caster reasonably calmly talk about the game and know what he's talking about. I've forgotten his name, but I would be happy to have him cast literally any event.

Because this is as good of a situation as any to try out newer builds that aren't sneaky single use builds but rather a new idea they are cultivating. Also Slayers seems to value putting on a good show which often involves playing less tried and true builds.

They're SlayerS players...creative and super delicate builds are like their trademark. Practically all the builds they use involve being super greedy in the early game so they can get the economic advantage in the mid game.

i'm sorry, but you say they are code b like that means they are bad. So many good players have been stuck in code b or are still in code b because its incredibly hard to qualify for code A. These guys are on SlayerS and practice all day long against other SlayerS players.

1 game, MMA is still 3-1 vs hwangsin in his weakest matchup

^ This.
Code B or not, they are Slayers players. Beating those players counts as a success for me.

It's MMA, one of the world's finest players. 1 game off him is more prestigious than winning some of the smaller online cups

I'm sorry but saying "oh code b is total hell" is kind of a weak excuse. Min and Miya are very low on the SlayerS power ranking imo... Min's had all of 2 wins in GSTL? His ZvZ is his weakest matchup and he's at less than 50% overall...
same thing with miya, except he doesn't have any gstl wins at all (hell, only 17 games total in his tlpd).
So they really aren't some kind of mystic DRG hero from code b hell... they are slayers B-team at best

they still are very skilled players, or else they wouldn't be on SlayerS. Just because they haven't had the opportunity doesn't mean they aren't good. I never said they were like DRG, just that they are very good players.

An all in isn't that prestigious.
lol a win is a win... it's not like these players are paid to provide entertaining matches for us, their first goal is to win. MMA himself all-ins a decent amount of the time against good players.
This was such an honor to have the opportunity to compete against SlayerS. They are my favorite Korean team and have so many incredible players. I am glad we showed some good games, and we know some weren't as good as they could have been. We are working hard to always improve, and we hope to show some better results soon.
