There's more tournaments than available days. This is just a qualifier ! There's more chances to qualify for the league as well!

While this may be the case, I am still saddened. Regardless, I hope the event will be excellent.

Its open as in anyone can enter, meaning no invites, its the same as MLG and IPL "Open Bracket", where you have to buy player passes to play in the open bracket.
For those of you late to the scene NASL started out saying that they had funding secured for 3 seasons minimum, so this new season must be a indicator of things going well for them or at least them seeing future success.

Excellent news indeed. Here's to another 100 seasons of the NASL!
Hey Xeris, I don't know if you can comment on this but how has NASL3 been going in comparison to other seasons? Are you guys doing better as far as viewers and making money?
Man I really love the NASL. Hope they can keep it up. It's great having that much competitive SC2 to watch. I may enter just to get annihilated and give them ten bucks. Actually I'd really be interested in casting some of the pre-lims.

Yes! They've stepped it up hardcore this season, I was hoping it wasn't too late.
might not be the entirely right place to ask but couldnt find it on nasl page or on liquipedia for season 3. How many players will be on the finals? Will it still be top 2 of each group + those 2 here + this playoff bracket winners which consists of top 20 behind the top 2 of each group?

and GESL (15th -17th).
Glad to see that bigger events will announce a date months after smaller lans and probably manage to snag all the viewers. #killingesports
Charging 10$ kind of makes it so you go from supporting up and coming players to not so much...Sure it's only 10$ but a cost without a profit sure isn't good for an unstable new career for anyone...

Oh well. Won't be the first event I work on that beats nasl handsomely.
What? You're comparing a $11,000 LAN event to an online qualifier. This makes no sense. There's about 5-10 events/tournaments every weekend. Not sure what this aggression is all about

If you can't afford $10 you might want to reconsider what you're doing.
If Players qualify for the ro8, and are at Dreamhack, is there any chance this tournament could be scheduled around DH play times, to allow for both tournaments to be played

Still, the lack of interest is shocking. I mean, the winner goes directly to the playoffs right?

Not this time. Top 2 go into the wildcard playoffs to get to the finals.
Hey guys, NASL is a tournament that has improved significantly over this season. It's a great chance for exposure and nice way to win 150 dollars a week. Please sign up for it.

How many MVP players are we talking about? DRG maybe? My guess is it's just the mvp players currently in cali for the gigabyte lan, monster, tails and dream.

Not sure how many exactly, will get a list tonight
Just to make sure, so I don't get screwed here...if you have less then 64 players, this tournament will not start until tomorrow at 6 PDT 9 EDT, correct?

Anything other than 4 Koreans getting the 4 spots would surprise me. That makes me sad, I always thought of NASL as the premier foreigner league with a few good Koreans sprinkled in.
Edit: the only thing I could see being a factor is that none of MvP seems to be in online tournaments on other servers, so they may not be used to the latency.

pretty interesting upsets so far
He also beat Sniper, which is hard to believe. Also, sad that desrow lost, with Kees's momentum it will be hard to stop him, but DRG will probably take it. Oh, another thing, is MaruKim MaruPrime?

maruprime's name is Cho Sung Choo so i doubt marukim is the prime player. would love to be proved wrong since him qualifying would be awesome haha
Just checked the brackets. DRG out makes me a sad panda but this was Puma has a better chance to defend his title. Don't get me wrong, I want a foreigner to win this... But there'd be something just way too cool about Puma winning the first three NASLs.

Give him a golden bulldozer if he wins his 3rd title
please add a link to the brackets/the liquipedia entry to the op and to the calendar entry of the nasl playdays. this way information about this event is much easier to obtain.
