That game kind of highlights something I hate about TvZ currently and that is if some aggression you attempt in the first 10 minutes does bad just quit. The twin zerg advantages of 3 really quick saturated bases behind queens and tremendous creep spread means that even if they play super bad afterwards, which zikto tried really hard to do with that bane attack on demus 3rd killing like 0 scvs lol, there's pretty much no way the zerg can actually lose. Surprised to see demu trying bio on this map, this map is far more favourable for tank strategies, clenching the centre and cutting off zerg mobility while ensuring through repeated drop play they never get to take a 4th as you choke them out. Even in the current metagame of TvZ I think that should still be the best way to play the map. The other thing to note about this game and g3 against Jrecco is that demu went 3/4 rax before the 2 ebays whereas vs jrecco he went 2 ebays before that and attacked much later cu zof beter ups. Demu switching his play in subtle yet important ways to maybe trick the shit out of his opponent. Failed badly that game but still nice. | ||
