There's no need to make excuses for him, he played poorly and lost. That's all there is to it.

I saw the brackets earlier - the ZvZ was at the bottom and Nerchio - Hasu was in the upper part. Why was it changed?

gl ret! There was not a whole lot of terran talent compared to z and p, especially when you consider how poorly mvp played (may be due to his condition, but he still played bad relative to his usual level).

Sad to see terrans gone before the RO8 but it's not exactly unexpected. Hopefully this will not become a trend in foreign events. Otherwise map-pool balancing may be necessary as Blizzard insists no patch is coming.

He made RO8 in last homestory cup and it shut up no-one.

the only game he played *poorly* was the one where he was already eliminated
mb he made a few mistakes his first two games, but let's be real, he didn't play *poorly* lol

Damn that is many zergs xd Go go MC!

Anyone know what the dubstep song in the intro video is called? I've been searching like a mad man and I can't find it

MC gonna win

HSC cup is awesome, but man, am I bored with watching PvZ in particular. These matches are just never interesting to me, just nothing happens...And ZvZ is a close second in boring...PvP can be fun, but I don't see that happening today...So I hope the players will do their best to make it interesting, because I will still be watching all day .
Closing message...We need more good terrans!!!!! T vs Anything is so fun to watch, it does not even matter if players are at their best. I really enjoyed the Naama vs Mvp match .

Probably going to come down to a PvP coinflip for 1st place. I didn't think PvP was a coinflip but the last couple weeks have changed my faith and now PvP makes me rage, though it still is usually a really cool matchup when the players are good.

so many jerks for MC to kill
|
Hope Ret can show some good games against MC. Don't expect him to win, but he has a chance atleast. Micro your units!
|
I hope for Nerchio and Ret to advance, then Nerchio for winner *-* Would be sooo nice

Too bad, i was happy to see Nerchio away from MC.
