That's an uphill battle and a half, but Vortix has been playing well lately and Lucifron is always a force to be reckoned with, so maybe they can make it close.

Yeah but let's be honnest, he played very poorly at this event, maybe he was anxious because it was his first offline event(was it? i mean in a different country?).

It was after the gathering.
And common, he won Blizzcon in WC3 winning Grubby at finals, I don't think he is anxious in offline events xDDDDD

Okay then, but i just felt like he played quite poorly hopefully he wins that one.
Meh game by Lucifron at best. Frankly his micro was actively bad. The first storms might be excuseable because he didn't know there was storm, but there was no excuse for the bungling of the attack.
The foreigner teams are doing very well against the Korean powerhouses this week. Acer did great against TSL, and now K3 has already put up a great fight against MVP.
Don't take this as balance whine, but Zergs are having their good times right now, showing really good plays that utilize their strengths really well and makes their victims look so weak. Can't wait to see what Terrans and Protoss will have to develop against these styles (I feel like the Sentry & Immortal timing pushes will be getting crushed hard once Zergs remember a certain unit called the Hydra). I feel like this year is going to a good year for innovations.

AlastOr is a very good player, he's always well positioned in the EU ladder.
Sorry, but ladder means almost nothing. And AlastOr has close to zero other results. He has playing korean progamers. I don't expect him to win. Nice he surprised me though .

In TvZ yes, but I wouldn't say so in PvZ. The state of PvZ wasn't really affected by the patch and most protoss players already have a good grip of the match up right now (realize how stephano has gotten knocked out in PvZs in 3 out of 4 of his recent major tournaments?).
I have to say also that Doa's casting has improved A LOT. It seems like he puts more effort into gaining knowledge specifically for casting games. Real big plus in my book.

Yea been occasionally getting some video lag.. The sound always works but for some reason every now and then the video gets choppy or just stops for me

Yeah, I've always kinda liked Doa, but I've really been enjoying his casting more and more over the past several months. Like you said, it really seems like there have been concrete improvements in his skill and knowledge.

Going to be one hell of a set I think. Both teams are fairly even, with Zerg players being their main players in team leagues and a Code S Terran on both sides. Hoping for a Polt vs DRG game, or at least Symbol vs DRG.

lol , he was 3rd in WCS Spain , won vs VortiX 2-1 in semifinals, and then lost to him 1-2 in the loser bracket. He qualified for The Gathering also ...... and.... he won 3 playhems last week (+4 2nd places xD)
