What happen to Puzzle? Forfeit GSL and now NASL...
Oz was next in line for the leader board? That doesn't make much sense to me.

They said he's unwell. Pneumonia.

They specified next Protoss on the Leaderboard.

That computes then I suppose.
Select Zenio Oz Hyun

Is Puma getting a walk over Oz? For week 1?
Seeing Puzzle drop out of not only GSL but also NASL is so sad.

Well if he is sick then there isnt much you can do about it. Hopefully he gets better and we can see him own again. We should start a get well puzzle thread

Was TLO a no-show vs Naniwa?

TLO 2-0 Zenio 2-0 Oz 2-0 HyuN 2-1

Is TLO going to show up against Select? I thought that his flight to Valencia is going today?
TLO probably played his matches vs Naniwa before today. Today looks to be really fun! No Mirror matchup day!
Stats say that Hyun's record is (0-0) but his Overall Win % is 100%... is this referring to previous wins that aren't recorded or something? Shouldn't it just be blank or N/A or something? Considering it's right next to Puma's record, which has games played and has wins with no losses, and therefore correctly shows 100%?

He was the next non-Mvp person on the leaderboard anyway...

Puzzle is even dropping out of NASL? The rumor of him retiring becomes more true every passing day. It's sad, it seems like he's quitting because the competition got harder...

Yes, Oz agreed to assume Puzzle's position in the league along with his 0-2 deficit.
Great lineup for today! looking forward to matches!

Oooooo MorroW vs HuK :D Also cant wait to see the wizard play in the NASL!

Rescheduled doesn't always mean they'll play it the day after. I remember last season a Puma game from week one got delayed til like week 7.

Too bad Puzzle had to drop NASL, hope he recovers ASAP from his condition.
HuK 2-0 MorroW SeleCT 2-1 TLO Oz 2-0 Galaxy HyuN 2-0 PuMa Zenio 2-1 NaNiwa

Hahah Frodan's reaction to that was priceless <3

According to FXOBoss from "climbing the ladder" show with ChanmanV SlayerS team is in deep shit right now. Everything is in disarray. could be the reason for Puzzle's drop.

Then I guess Morrow is being plain esoteric with his gameplay.
I think Life vs Seed/JYP has spoiled me in terms of drop defense.
lol
And that's why Huk isn't in GSL.
Omg HuK, hopefully losing those colossus doesn't spell his defeat
United States15275 Posts
Morrow is so nice. For every colossi HuK donates, Morrow gives back a broodlord.
Not the highest level of play, but very entertaining.
I was about to stop watching NASL but Rotterdam's sage girl advice convinced me to stay.
I'm pretty sure it's Huk who type that he played this map only once
Bitter and Rotti were talking about different songs. I think Bitter was talking about Without Me while Rotti was talking about Just Lose It.
Damn some sick matches going on today!

The muta transition was not done well.
But the muta commitment was very good and HuK was not prepared for it.

Watching Muta Ling Bane versus Protoss is so satisfying for some reason.
There's actually action unlike the Seed Symbol turtlefest yesterday?

Huk seems pretty bitter about NASL in general.

Well he can't whine about this win.
Well.. Huk couldn't have done worse job.
edit- Nvm, thank god.. he was so far ahead, and Morrow was powering for so long.

Huk almost helped Morrow pull off the sickest defense in the history of the game lol.

woot 2-0 start for huk this season!!!

Haha classic Select. He's been doing 11/11 every game against Zerg for like half a year.
Smart use of LOS blockers by TLO. Don't see that very often.
Select going for build as many CCs as he can and TLO going for be as inefficient as possible.
Cool game lol.
No idea what Select was doing there. Nothing being produced, only making Starports and Command Centres.

Holy cow that was fun to watch. Can't say that it was the most practical play by either of them, but it's always enjoyable to see TLO going nuts.
MorroW 1-2 HuK TLO 2-1 SeleCT Oz 2-0 Galaxy PuMa 0-2 HyuN Zenio 2-1 Naniwa
gogo Liquid

The mass contaminate on the factories made me smile. I think that tactic might be the most viable vs mech, due to the low number of production facilities.

WOW. This style of zerg is so entertaining. Really impressed by TLO

I don't understand Select at all. How do you have such high APM and such sloppy multitasking? He killed so much stuff and he broke even...
These two are playing reaaaaaaaaaaally poorly.
The level of play this season thus far has been underwhelming... need the heavy hitters.
When I saw Select stream a year ago he would float over 1k minerals playing bio, now he's approaching 3k lol.
I find it so funny when Rotti says Oh my goodness, oh my damn i dont know why.

I got no idea wtf is going on in this serie

That was a good bane drop from TLO. He should keep doing those if Select won't bother to build vikings.

Haha Rotti trying so hard to make Bitter bite on a 69 joke xD
Danm thats the Naniwa I'm used to seeing
Naniwa is looking much better than a month ago.
Why is Zenio not already spreading his broodlords?
Daamnnn Zenio that was sexy, neural the archons in the toilet and turn them on the mothership? Drop during the big engagement with your left over roaches and some lings? How does a Protoss stop that?
Haha, Zenio says: thank you for the archons.
On September 21 2012 13:28 Dexington wrote: Naniwa is looking much better than a month ago.
Something I heavily respect about Naniwa is that he's generally very reluctant to do the flavor of the month all ins, he works to be a good and consistent player.
On September 21 2012 13:32 Chicane wrote: Why is Zenio not already spreading his broodlords?
he is consistently fungalling the mothership before it gets into vortex range, and he is only pulling 1-2 infestor to do it, so he isn't exposing his infestors to a vortex either. it was pretty nicely done.
the neural'd archons killing the mothership was hilarious.

I bow my hat to you. Dedicated trolls are an endangered species in this time.

did zenio just target his own queen with broodlords to pre-spawn broodlings to help safe the infestors? or was there a zealot attacking the queen?

Starception requires better grammar to transcend mere snobbery.
OK, if Zenio uses the restroom and lets Naniwa get up another base, this should be close; the tried and true tactic of throwing Stalkers at Infestors until they run out of energy so you have an advantage in the next fight isn't working. Gotta love late game PvZ.
On a serious note, why is it that Zerg never just keep pushing after that first big engagement? After a failed Vortex, Toss has nothing. Why is there always a big delay like this?
Why doesnt Zenio just send broodlords over that hole above 4th

Overextending with a slow army is the easiest way to throw away a lead. You never know the extent of your opponent's reinforcements or their total positioning. It is far easier to rely on a superior economy and attempt to outproduce protoss in the long run. Note that I did not say more effective.
On that note, Zenio's ground upgrades are really late.

well he had +3 melee and +3 ranged before working on carapace.

Huge zergling runby at the end was so smart by Zenio. Takes a lot of guts to have just BL's + infestors attacking a deathball with no ground units to support.

Every time Puma attempts to qualify for Code A he gets beaten by a zerg, a zerg who coincidentally becomes famous a few months afterwards. I refer you to Life, Miya, etc.
So really he just has crappy luck.

Sickly entertaining game 2. So much going on making it very exciting to watch. How bout them ravens Puma!!!
And dropping a "Hello, this is dog" coming back from the commercial break, ROFLMAO!!!!!! Man i love the NASL. Internet humor and nerd jokes aplenty!

Morrow play so fking wierd..

God what was select thinking? I can only assum that for whatever reason he didn't respect TLO's skill level (which is odd since Liquid is obviously known amongst koreans...). MORE CC PLEASE.
