I'm sure elfi will challenge Stephano more than Flash, Bisu, Last, or Jaedong. So tuning into this EPIC tournament. lol
Agree, this is so true! :D
He don't wanna play in us crappy tournament and have free wins.
GOGO ELFI!
WOW I can't believe you couldn't read the sarcasm.
I guess if you think elfi is even remotely close to Flash, Bisu, Last, or Jaedong in skill you must have a great understanding of the game. lmao.
Stephano knows he wouldn't make it past 2nd round of an OSL or GSL Code S so he stays in Europe.
Have fun whooping on players that wouldn't even make the B-team of a Korean team.
Rofl, he he has beaten mma mvp taeja hero mc parting squirtle violet drg curious and 100 more top tier koreans all in the past, he has won 4 major lans now. He is atleast top 10 in skilled players atm, stop talking down on stephano. he would easily get top 8 in GSL if he gave all his time to it like all these korean guys.
wat.
Elfi won't even win this tournament, and these guys are just Europeans. You really think Elfi's as good as the better Koreans (even the top-tier Kespa players)? o.O
He was referring to Stephano, in case you missed that.
Loving these invite tournaments where there are no 50 players battling it out with two group stages and enormous brackets. It would be cool if a foreign terran could win, I can't stand the stephano fanboys announcing that he "has this"

Ok, it was a bit of an exaggeration. Stephano is extremely talented and have great mechanics. My main point is the competition in this tournament is non existent compared to the MvP invite that he declined and he runs away from every chance to go play in Korea. It makes a lot of sense financially because he would be placing first in most of them due to the competition, but man up and prove you're the best by winning a GSL or OSL.
"if he gave all his time to it like all these korean guys" lol I'm sure this is every european pro's excuse for being so inferior. Since most of them attend universities and work side jobs.

I wonder what is every north american pro's excuse for being so inferior then.

Flash and Last, maybe, but I don't think any of those players could successfully carry a series against top European pros atm. Sure, they might get past one or two, but seriously? Thorzain? Lucifron? Stephano? I could understand if you were talking Gumiho or MVP or Parting but the only player really pulling his weight for KeSPA at the moment is Rain. The rest are like, mid tier code A and the last time Thorzain played GSL without being incredibly ill, he gave us a ridiculously epic and capable performance against a Code S class terran.
It's not easy money. Stephano's a hell of a player but he's more than capable of losing to half the names on that list, especially if they bring their A game. Lucifron and Thorzain are more than capable of taking him down.

KeSPA players are trading evenly with eSF @ OSL, GSL, and WCS Korea...

I did. What is the best way to answer sarcasm? Make more sarcasm :D
I guess my game understanding must be awful because I think that Elfi is probably close in skill to Bisu. Obviously JaeDong, Flash, and Last are capable of Code S quality games, and are at least Code A quality (I still believe JaeDong is Code A quality despite his quick departure from Code A)l, but Bisu has shown good games against some NA players, but I haven't yet seen the "next level" you'd expect from him, though admittedly I haven't seen all his games. I think Elfi's recent EU performances show he can play on a better level than most people give him credit for.
EDIT: Your larger point stands, but I don't think comparing Elfi to Bisu is the best way to make your point.

The American players are far more inferior compared to the Europeans players and the us tournaments have like 20 Koreans at every event. at least our top players can compete with the Koreans in some degree.
