The Evil Geniuses Master’s Cup Series League will feature 12 teams in a round robin format with each team matchup containing at least four best of three games between two teams. The top four teams at the end of the season will advance to the playoffs on a two day live broadcast weekend.
BeastyQT v Major will be super close. Major's matchup du jour is TvT. Vibe is super hot right now, so I think he'll go over Mista. I think Happy and Kas have good matches though.
If either Beasty or Mista win their match, Empire takes the series.
puCK 0 - 2 Kas ViBe 2 - 0 TheMista MaSa 2 - 1 Happy MajOr 2 - 0 Beastyqt
The series between MaSa and Happy should be really close and really good. Looking forward to that match. Also really interested in seeing what puCK decides to do vs Kas
Puck is really good but even so i think Kas is just a couple levels higher. all the other ROOT guys atleast have a very good chance to win if not favored completely.

well a lot of people thought MaSa would lose to thorzain and MaSa 2-0'd him, a lot of people thought he'd lose against hasuobs and MaSa 2-0'd him and made it look really really easy. I suppose people are just tired of being wrong.
Most reasonable predictions imo, although masa & beasty could win their matches.
Edit: this is going to be match of the week for me btw, empire & kas my favorite tean & player and root has (imo) overperformed so far which is really cool to see.
Happy is sick good at the moment and he has saved Empire many times already in all the leagues they've played in, even though Masa is on the rise, I don't think he'll beat Happy quite yet.
Other matchups I'm not as certain, but I think the two teams will split games, either Vibe or Major will win, but Mista or Beasty will also take a match.
Hearing djWheat do these casts really gives me appreciation for how good of a caster he is. He walks that perfect line between casual and professional, where it's fun to listen while not seeming too informal and silly. This guy is a must have for any big event IMO... he's the caster esports needs!
Also- Whirlwind is the best map of all time. Just sayin.

Was anything conclusive ever proved from that thread? That was kind of weird, hiding a probe in the sight blockers right up until zerglings were about to enter it (there's no way he could've seen those lings, so it's either ridiculous luck or he somehow saw them)

It's impossible to prove maphacking conclusively, so no.
Edit: and to comment your comment, it was a perfectly reasonable time to get your probe moving to set up a proxy pylon and it's a secret to noone who has watched a little of Vibe's ZvP that he likes to make those 10ish lings to chase away the zealot-probe.
I recall manager of Empire - Stranger saying that if his players will be accused of hacking or cheating they will leave the team immediately, so dont worry everyone

That's a good point. Obviously, when viewing on a stream I'm in no position to accuse anyone of hacking, not to mention I imagine if I rewatched even some of my own replays it'd look like I was dodging lings with a map hack too, even if it was by luck or purposeful timing.
