Ok, I'll spell it out for you since you don't get it. Anything is possible. It is possible that every game this event has been staged and no one has actually tried their best. It is also possible there's no money in this tournament and the players are aware of it, hence not trying their best. Arguing something just because it's possible is absolutely retarded unless you have something actually pointing towards it other than it being... possible.

That's all. It just bothers me that everyone seems so ignorant of that being a very real possibility. It's not a "very real possibility" because stephano isn't a dumbass. The Assembly thing with bratok was completely obvious and done in a joking way. I doubt millennium cared much about it. Fixing matches in a 100k tourney organized by fucking blizzard while you're on the (arguably) most high-profile team in sc2 and you have tens of thousands of people watching you on stream and in person, just to get a slightly better bracket is insanely stupid

But Rain being the tournament winner is where my loling came from. Why is Rain being the tournament winner lol worthy? He is probably the favorite.

Indeed, I started smiling once I saw this tho. Started watching Stephano's hand on the keyboard more oftenly since then. But once again, IdrA played well. Also, would be pitty if Stephano loses to Hero somehow.

I am incredibly disappointed but not totally surprised that anyone( Least of all an admin of TL ) would try to play down his fantastic achievement of taking out two incredible zerg players in legitimate, excellent games. . I will put this down to personal prejudice against Idra or for Stephano. Idra has always been an excellent player and I think he proved it here today.

A Lot of Koreans also have respect for Idra for his skill, especially earlier on WoL. (Maybe a bit less now, but the results of this tournament/games may turn that around yet again).

In fact, he responded directly towards what I said after you posted this, implying that it was what he meant. Otherwise he would have said "No, that's not what I was saying." I am not assuming the worst. I am assuming that they both tried to win. How is that assuming the worst? I am just acknowledging that the players had the opportunity to behave poorly. Why? Because they did due to Blizzard's predetermined brackets. In addition, Stephano has tried it in the past, so it really isn't fair to completely rule it out as a possibility, which many people in this thread are. And you keep making up or assuming stuff, LOL.

Stephano is an individual, with a bevy of personal opinions and motivations. Oh yea. It's a 100k dollars. It's not unthinkable. no one wants to think of their hero as a bad guy

If Idra played Life or Leenock he would have gotten destroyed. If They aren't even in this tournament so I have no idea why you would even bring this up

If he does it and it works out, he gets a slightly better bracket. If he gets caught, his entire career is over. Seems reasonable to you?
