Wow, stale jokes are stale. This curse thing is starting to piss me off more than 'arrow in knee' or 'Stephano best *insert any country but France* player'. They all stopped been funny a very long time ago -_-

Glad to see the old joke poll is gone. =D Hilarious that Idra is #3 but hey I would love if that happened. Went with Creator myself though.
Really really pleased with how the groups played out outside of Rain taking second forcing Idra to play him round 1. Also wouldn't have minded seeing either Grubby or HuK or both advance. Oh and I dislike where the 2 terrans are in the bracket but hey what are ya gonna do, no Korean terrans and all.

Both are strongly favoured against every other combination of opponents these groups could have produced. Now one of them will lose for sure - it's very unfortunate and disappointing for everyone who likes to watch games with Terrans in them.

She can beat Parting it isn't out of the realm of possibility, and if she can do that she just has to beat either Suppy or Killer in a ZvZ (which looks like her strongest match up atm) to put a foreigner in the top 4. Sadly, I just don't think that Suppy or Killer are good enough to beat Parting if he manages to get past Scarlett, so all foreign hopes for a top 4 finish really relies on her getting past Parting tomorrow. There's also the longshot that Idra manages to get past Rain, but I find that INCREDIBLY unlikely. Whoever wins between Lucifron and Vortix will have to go against Creator unless Illusion can miraculously pull the biggest upset in SC2 history to take him down. In the end, I agree I think a Korean (Protoss) top 4 is likely at this point, which is what I was expecting from the very beginning. Parting can also review the games from Scarlett and design a few nice counter/timing - builds. I am really looking forward to IdrA vs Rain - that series got some potential. People always forget that SEn is still in this.... I think the Sen v Curious match is actually the best match of the Ro16 Sen will make it out. Curious won't make it past Ro16 in any tournament. Still, should be a good match
Curious won code A and he was Top8 for WCS Asia. He just has trouble with GSL Ro16

It's a teamkill.

It's like a flashback to when Day[9] and Tasteless would face each other in BW tournaments. 1 Wins and 1 Loses, but that win might propel him with the momentum and support from his brother.

If Titan can beat one herO, he can beat the other HerO.

tbh, except stephano and nerchio goin out, there where no real upsets. parting, vortix, sen, rain and lucifron where clearly favorites. group h, well ok i thought it would be nerchio and either scarlett or moonglade, but creator is good so im not that suprised he took one spot there. babyknight might not be known that well in the US, but he is realy good, so im not suprised he took a spot. that killer took the place instead of grubby or huk, well, more a statement of his strength than of the others weakness, the three of them where quite on one level im my eyes (and i hoped for grubby^^). group f had (in my eyes) no real favorite, with slight advantages to the koreans maybee.
so in the end, idra taking first place and getting rewarded with rain is the upset of the groups. on another note, i still prefer a real groupplay instead of the gsl-group-bracked-with-looserwinnerfinal style, but maybee thats personal preference and my understanding of 'groupstage' in relation to 'double-bracket.'

Foreigners already had it easy with only 7/32 players being Korean, and 2 groups had 2 Koreans each in them. On top of that, there already were some big upsets with Babyknight, Idra and Titan's excellent performance. Sorry to burst your bubble, but its not gonna get any better when the infester nerf comes through.
I for one am actually happy to see some fresh foreign talent come through which aren't fricking ezmode zerg. And even more happy for Hero getting his vengeance. Either way, this will most certainly will be a top 4 Korean Protoss, so crybabies have your tissues ready.
Gloat, balance whine and condescension in one post. What's up with the bad attitude, mister?

So I was like WOAH IDRA GOT OUT FIRST THERE? NICE. Then I see the draw for the ro16. Pat on the back man, pat on the back.

Team kill for the Spaniards in the round of 16 =(
Really didn't expect 2 out of 3 Kespa players to fall in the ro32 yikes. Even Rain didn't 4-0 his group =S Looks like things will get very interesting.
