UPDATE: MajOr can't attent the HomeStoryCup VI powered by XMG, due to a heavy fever. His replacement will be the Dutch Harstem, who currently plays for fnatic.
First group matches for the HomeStoryCup VI powered by XMG

The first two of every group will qualify for the second group stage. The group seedings will work as listed below:
Group A 1st Place vs Group D 2nd Place Group B 1st Place vs Group C 2nd Place Group C 1st Place vs Group B 2nd Place Group D 1st Place vs Group A 2nd Place

So don't forget to tune in, and experience professional StarCraft matches in an unique atmosphere, like never before!
Purple: BlinG probably, won most recent i47 which is kinda near that pixel. Could be demuslim though, that dot looks more like nottingham which is demu's hometown. Blue: HuK? ( born in florida) Orange: Snute or TargA Green: Elfi or naama I guess Off-white: Lowely (only notable player from ~belarus afaik)
cities are: yellow -> warsaw blue - stockholm pink -> telford green -> helsinki orange -> hamar red -> st.petersburg violet -> paris white/grey -> i dunno which dot shall be krefeld, if white is krefeld, grey would be something close to frankfurt, if grey is krefeld, should be something in den netherlands teal -> somewhere in florida
so my guesses
yellow -> ret blue -> thorzain pink -> bling green -> dimaga orange -> lucifron red -> slivko violet -> stephano white/grey -> depends, which dot you look, xlord or grubby
I agree with bbm, purple should be bling. He attended the last hsc and was a really good entertainer. Other possibility could be demuslim, cause he is from the UK as well but I don't know where he is born.
I also thought about tlo, cause he won his first big tournament in Manchester, but the dot is surely not Manchester.

I think I remember TaKe saying on stream that BlinG would get an auto-invite because he guarantees good entertainment :D
Stephano already confirmed in an interview that he would be at HSC VI (can't remember which interview it was though). And if both Stephano and BlinG are going to be there... epic party incoming!

Sheth played at the last HomeStoryCup. Could still be Sheth or could be HuK.
white seems really to be grubby ^^ first not looked on the map saw 200km and thought "netherlands" ^^ pretty sure that monchi will play, if they have places they life its 0km xD

Not much to add, just a few corrections.
YELLOW: It's almost certainly Warsaw, Poland. They goofed a bit on the map, the dot IS in the Vilnius/Minsk area (which would mean LoWeLy or Krr) but the distances don't add up. Warsaw is almost exactly 1100km away. BLUE: Definitely Stockholm, Sweden. But Dreamhack is in Jönköping, a different city in the center of the country. ORANGE: It's actually not Oslo, (which would mean Snute, I believe) but it's Hamar, Norway, which is actually the placer where The Gathering happens. LucifroN seems likely. SjoW is an unlikely invite. RED: Yep, it's St. Petersburg. Dunno who lives there though. VIOLET: Another obvious one. Paris, France. No disagreements with your analysis. GREY: Again you're right. These are pretty easy. Frankfurt, Germany. No idea who is from there, but ought to be a German player since international events don't happen there. TEAL: Somewhere in Florida, USA, but again, I think they may have their numbers wrong, because Orlando is too close, Tampa and Miami are too far. But the MLG connection is quite possible, yeah. Otherwise, it's Sheth
Stephano has confirmed he will be attending HSC! So I am guessing that Paris purple dot is Stephano's ESWC 2011 win!
Super stoked that Stephano will be featured this time. He has said he really wanted to go last time, but instead chose to attend WCS France, a decision which did work out well for him. However he will be able to experience this one. Stephano has done well in the last 2 Take tournaments he has participated in, winning the Take TV Reloaded Invitational and coming second in the Stim to the Win tournament. We'll see if he can keep this impressive record going in HSC VI!
Looking forward to HSC VI! Take always hosts excellent tournaments...
Considering the above, this almost confirms that the dots refer to major tournament wins. So Bling looks likely due to winning Insomnia in Telford and Huk too because he won MLG in Orlando. Also Lucifron won the Gathering that took place in Hamar, Norway, so that is the Orange dot. I am guessing the Stockholm dot is Thorzain because these dots seem to be first (or early) LAN wins, and Thorzain won Dreamhack Stockholm. I think the Red dot is St Petersburg and Brat_OK comes to mind as a Russian player who has achieved success in Russian LANS there.
scarlett would be super funny at an event like this. ^^ since she never shows more than her playing. Doesnt give many interviews. Would be fun to see her in such an environment^^ like casting casually with other progamers

Continuing from above, the Yellow dot is definitely Belarus which probably means Lowely. The distance given is off by some way though, so maybe it is supposed to represent somewhere closer, like Poland? If they meant Poland, then Nerchio or Mana or Tarson comes to mind. Nerchio won the last HSC and Tarson always seems to go to HSC. Then again the Polish contingent were very funny last time with their Polish flag markers!
The Green dot is Helsinki, which implies a Finnish player such as Elfi or Naama or Welmu. Welmu won WCG Finland last year. Another alternative is Dimaga, as his first major LAN win was in Assembly Summer 2011, held in Helsinki.
The White dot seems to be Frankfurt, but this does not really indicate an obvious player to me. Maybe a German player who comes from there? Unless they messed up the colour scheme on the map and they mean somewhere in Holland, which would imply Ret or Grubby.

Nice map analysis from tree.hugger. About Warsaw, it could also be someone from the Ministry of Win house : MorroW, LiveZerg, Ret, TargA, TitaN or even desRow or Destiny. I think Ret, TitaN and TargA are the most probable invites.
About Paris, if it's not Stephano (who is from Toulouse by the way, about 800km souther), it's probably a tournament winner since no top tier player is from Paris. We have Adelscott but he's not really top tier anymore even if he took second place in WCG finals. So a tournament winner in Paris, either MMA from Iron Squid, Mana fro ESWC 2012. Don't forget that Stephano won ESWC 2011 and WCS France in Paris though.
I edited the Grey dot, as I am 100% sure about this

While the spot looks like nottingham or sheffield, the distance ties in perfectly with Telford (location of insomnia lans) which is almost exactly 800km away from krefeld on google maps, depending on the route taken. That strongly suggests BlinG (winner of prev), not to mention he's an obv invite anyway due to his amazing drunken looping louie antics

If I remeber correctly, TaKe gave a hint yesterday on his stream (German stream for IEM Poland Quali) that the TEAL dot does NOT refer to a birthplace.
Let`s do a player riddle contest! One point for every correct guess. I will keep track and we do this again for the next riddle. You can post and edit your guess until the solution is posted. (the player must be clearly identifiable, you may guess the same player for multiple colors, ofcourse only ONE guess per color) If you want to hide your tip, you can send it as PM to me.
UNOFFICIAL HSC PLAYER RIDDLE CONTEST YELLOW: Ret, gotta go for my man yo BLUE: Stephano PINK: PDemuslim GREEN: Dimaga ORANGE: HerO RED: BeastyQT VIOLET: Mana GREY: XlorD TEAL: Sheth
OK then, I already given my reasoning in previous posts but I'll use this template for clarity and brevity.
UNOFFICIAL HSC PLAYER RIDDLE CONTEST YELLOW: Nerchio BLUE: Stephano PINK: Bling GREEN: Naama ORANGE: Lucifron RED: BratOK VIOLET: Mana GREY: XlorD TEAL: HuK
I changed my mind from Thorzain for DreamHack Stockholm because he has just flown to Korea, this makes him less likely to be at HSC. SO I choose Mana to be Paris and Stephano to be Stockholm, due to ESWC and WCS Europe.
I choose Green to be Naama, because he has said that he is going to attend HSC.
Apparently Grey is Xlord as he is from that location in Germany.
Yellow is Nerchio, he won WCS Poland
TLO has confirmed he will be attending too. So not sure if he is one of the dots. Probably the little one.
yellow : TLO or Kas blue : Snute pink : Bling green : naama but not 100% sure orange : nightend red : most likely Happy violet : Mana grey : xlord teal : Ret
UNOFFICIAL HSC PLAYER RIDDLE CONTEST: YELLOW: Snute BLUE: Kas/TLO (they got a shared 3rd place), TLO is already confirmed so I guess it's TLO PINK: BlinG GREEN: Naama (He's from that region in Finland + he's already confirmed) ORANGE: NightenD RED: Brat_OK (Only pro, who's hometown is St. Petersburg) VIOLET: Mana GREY: XlorD TEAL: Ret

Violet: Cologne, Hasuobs is living there, Mvp and Puma won IEM Cologne, Socke won several EPS events in Cologne White: Should be New York, so should have something to do with MLG Arenas Red: Singapore, Grubby i think Green: Should be Columbus, so depends on 2011 or 2012, will probably be a korean Orange: Somewhere in Finnland, didnt know the exact place Teal: Bucharest, should accord to Dreamhack, so maybe Nerchio, Bly, maybe Monchi it was some kind of his international breakout Pink: Again Paris, maybe this time Stephano due to ESWC 2011 Yellow: its Graz, Monchi was born there, i think there is no other reference Blue: something in Italy, might be Cloud or its the place, where UGC was held, so could be Hasu
Orange could be city of Oulu, althou it looks little misplaced for it. Only happening there I know of is Vectorama. Naama is used already and I don't know of Welmu where he lives, but i know Elfi doesn't live there. However it was first tournament Elfi attended after getting sponsored by ROG.
On December 08 2012 02:18 Dexington wrote: I think green is Columbus, so who ever won MLG Columbus.
Red is Singapore, either Sting or Grubby. Grubby is confirmed already, so probably him.
White is New York? DRG won IEM NY.
Pink is Paris, so probably Stephano. Maybe MMA
Grey I believe is somewhere in Belgium, so probably Feast
Blue is somewhere else in France.
Yellow is probably Cloud, looks like Italy
Light blue may be Austria, so Monchi
Orange could be in Finland, maybe elfi?
MLG Columbus 2012 was MarineKing this year which makes sense because he didn't play in the Korean Qualifier and every other member of Prime including Gerrard did but it could be like Gubbernecco said and have MMA be Columbus from 2011 and MKP in NY for the MLG Arena
MKP and MC are coming probably too, because on 15 and 16 there is a tourney, where mkp and mc are playing in
source is here:
" Yoan Merlo @ToDsc2 I will be casting the Numericable cup in English live from the @M_Millenium house in Marseille on 15th and 16th with @sk__mc & @MKPS2 there!"
Already seems like a great tourney, but when is it taking place? I know the guy above me mentioned the 15th and 16th but I can't see it mentioned in the OP.
Im hoping DRG will come to some HSC some day. MC and MKP are kind of outgoing and fun people to have around and Im quite sure DRG would fit perfectly in there too. Otherwise Polt and Violet seem to be solid picks too.

On ESL.tv Take gave a statement that hinted Socke and Hasu as set for HSC6. While not officially announced yet (as far as I know) we can assume both guys being in the player pool.

yeah. Polt is like the only korean, who can speak english properly and is one of the few terrans with constant good results. Also a crowd-pleaser. An appearance at HSC would be so big. (and I am not even a fan)
Please Take, make it happen :o
Additionally HSC should (or have to...it would be so funny) make some FFA matches inbetween. NASL showed us that those games can be so funny.
Last (but I guess this is one too many): Day-9 should be invited as caster.
He wont be inviting any other casters i think, dont know if bitterdam will be there again, but most of the casting is done by the players anyway - and thats one of the reasons why hsc is so special!
furthermore i'd think that day9 is stupidly expensive too ^^
cologne could be a lot of guys, if you consider in the first riddle there were even 3rd place finishers. cologne had 3 big international tournaments, socke won 3 eps title in a row in cologne and the wcs germany, hasuobs is living there. can be a lot of different people
with hints, i would say Blue: Cloud Yellow: Monchi Pink: ToD? Green: MC Orange: Elfi/Welmu/Protosser/Fuzer? Red: Grubby Violet: Socke White: MarineKing Teal: Kas/Dimaga
Red is Grubby, that is his winnings at IEM Singapore. Green is MC, he won $2000 at MLG Columbus in 2011 White is MKP probably, he got 2nd at an MLG Arena in New York. Grey dot may be monchi, he just won 3000 euros at the EPS
mc <- green mkp <- white/grey moman <- deeppink socke <- lightpink monchi <- yellow dimaga <- light blue grubby <- red cloud <- blue elfi (protosser?) <- orange (only one i'm not sure)
I think that dot in California is SortOf, as he just won $5k at NASL. Is that a dot in Niger? Regardless, the only player I know of from Africa is PandaTank. The dot in Toronto is obviously Stephano. Red dot is in Ukraine, so it is either Bly for WCS Ukraine, or MMA for IEM Kiev Teal dot is in Poland. ToD won $3k at an event there, so that's a possibility Orange is in Stockholme, could be Nerchio for the recent Thor Open, Lucifron for WCS EU, or whoever got 3rd in WCS Sweden
Light Blue: Toronto? Shoud be Stephano Yellow: Might be Long Beach, would be SortOf Pink: Berlin, Hasuobs won 4k at Berlin Open Dark Violet: should be Goody Green: Real? Orange: Stockholm, Lucifron/Idra other 3rd place finishers arent likely(sjow, monster) or other are already announced Red: Kiev,Titan or Bly Dark Blue: Feast, i think Light Violet: MMA White: no clue Teal: Warsaw, should bei Thorzain for Battle.Net Europe Finalsd

yes, but he is the light violet dot, so he wont be named twice

i'd be very surprised if that was the case. between Idra, Incontrol, Scarlett, Sheth and Huk there are too many North American personalities to not invite any of them.

Yeah, could be Anaheim, but more likely NASL 4 (Sortof) or IPL Hot Imports (Hero).
MMA is the dot in Paris for Iron Squid.
Why more likely? Just geography? (I really don't know American geography so sorry if this is a dumb question).
Not geography. Thats all pretty close. Just several other facts like the GSL Grand Tour finals ... which is actually on the same date, so I assume definitely not MVP.
Same is true for Leenock btw. I think he says in the interview "finals ... or Homestory Cup".
And Hero is there as well. So the California spot seems to be Sortof.

Which team do you expect to send a NA player there and pay his flights/hotel? I don't know any unless Idra goes.
Quantic disbanded, EG's focus is in Korea now and none of their remaining NA players would make sense as an invite apart from IdrA. complexity? Nah. Root? Nah, and who would they even send?

Hmm, you make some good points as usual StarVe. I hadn't really thought it through. I guess I was thinking HuK but he's taking a break. Honestly any of Root would be fine though. Vibe especially would be fine. Ostojiy is probably finishing exams though now that I think of it so yeah I guess that makes sense, might be same situation for Illusion, fact that Quantic disbanded is all the more reason for more publicity now. For a minute or two I was thinking Scarlett but on second thought I'm pretty sure she wouldn't fit the HSC scene very well at the moment.
So yeah, well played. Man, the whole North American scene is really in disarray right now... Hadn't really realized it.
GOSWSER! Ha! They could've invited Goswser... I guess. :p But yeah on the whole, it makes sense that there's no NA players this time.

Theres no way MVP will be invited. Take recently said on stream that mvp was the worst guest for hsc ever, because he played bad, left the location and just chilled in his hotel the entire time. Take literally said he wont invite him ever again.

Wasn`t it the time MVP had a peak with his wrist problems and was frustrated? I mean I don`t know MVP`s social usual behavior at all, maybe Take is right, but it could be a snap judgment.

They put him on the couch and he just looked at his phone all the time, he's a great player but he just doesn't fit in the environment. He's famous for winning, not because he's entertaining and if he isn't winning you don't get a lot of value out of flying Mvp to a foreign tournament.
I'd love to see NesTea go once, but I wouln't try the Mvp experimen again either.

I think it isn't about Dignitas. TaKe mentioned during a stream that he got some problems with twitch.tv because of the much drinking on the stream. For this time, after the matches are finished and the drinking games starte, the stream will not be linked from twitch-frontpage anymore, iirc.
There are still 11 players to be revealed and Stephano already said on twitter that he will participate in the upcoming HSC. So don't worry, he'll be there
From left to right from top to bottom: Toronto, NASL3, Stephano Long Beach, NASL4, SortOf Berlijn, EPS Berlin open, Hasuobs, Darkforce GoOdy Stockholm, Thor Open, Nerchio, Kiev, WCS Ukraine, Bly, Belgium, Feast Paris, Iron Squid, MMA, Copenhagen, BabyKnight Warsaw, SEC, ToD
Didn't see HeroMarine all that much recently. I thought he wasn't practicing much because he was busy at school. Anyway, nice line-up overall, looking forward to HSC again
I think Snute could take this. He has been close to winning some big tournaments now and I have the feeling that if he prepares could enough he will in the finals.

SNUTE FIGHTING~
heh.
i know you're Norwegian, but... no. just no. Snute is good, but look at the playerlist again.
Babyknight is clearly the favourite. Seeing his sick dodging skills against the firebat in dota, he's more than able to keep his coins safe from a lunatic on a plane.

Tarson is not going to play, Take explained this on stream. He said Tarson has to be at Homestory Cup, even if he doesn't play, because he's such a nice guy so Take payed his flight. Nice Guy Take as well!

OK, that was a dumb post.
I didnt mean to flame HSC in any way, i love the tournament and cant w8 to watch it - i just dislike some invites and wouldve invited different ppl (but its obviously not my tournament, right^^) - moman as 2nd "special guest" and replacing fuzer/heromarine with slightly more accomplished players.
Also, i accused Fuzer of streamcheating in the past while he didnt, i fucked that up in my brain / was thinking about spades streamcheating while teammates @ the teamhouse were watching. sry!

ye, i rly dislike some of takes invites...
moman, heromarine? rly? i mean i like moman, but hes just not a good player. daisy and real are koreans in germany and much better than those 2. there are so many other options to invite, i dont rly get it. he pretty much invites the same ppl every hsc, no matter what results they get or anything. even worse then those 2 is the invite of Fuzer... cheesy, streamcheating - and pretty bad when he doesnt.
I for one really like the way take is inviting his players.
He chooses people that are really good at playing (MC,MMA etc.). Then he has people that are really entertaining on stream (Moman, Nightend, Grubby).
Most importantly imho he invites unkown european players and local talent to expose them to a bigger crowd. I think this is something that might get younger players more exposure and thus can increase their worth on the market.(He had Stephano at HSC III, which was before his big breakout)
HSC has always been more about entertainment than about highest level of play and i like it that way.
Only things I don't like is that Nerchio and Kas won't be there. It also won't be the same with only Rotterdam without MrBitter, but I guess it doesn't really matter at HSC, where all the players are casting anyway.
And I think he should've let Tarson play. He's in need of a team and he isn't much worse than say Heromarine or Moman. Or did Tarson retire?

He appears in the background of Takes stream pretty often, sometimes even kind of casts I think.

Nice Line up I´m really happy that Take invited Heromarine. He play better then the most guys here thinking, I´m watching often his stream. As example, he won a Ezio Cup tournament by 3-0 over Cloud at the finals. (Cloud playing well in international tournaments like dreamhack, who he reach the playoffs.) Hopefully, the two Koreans Terran win the thing in a epic TvT final, to show the world, that T is still a race who can win a something bigger....

Yawn. So another foreign tournament Stephano is going to win? With like 5 high level matches?

i think what makes this tournament sometimes really funny IS that the matches arent that great sometimes. if we only see the highest level of skill there would be a lot less to laugh about with the casters

Dear sir, if you accuse some one from streamcheating please give me some proofs. Otherwise please dont spread retarded rumours that hurts someones reputation.
I have never _streamcheated_, I might be cheesy sometimes but yeah so has everyone who has ever won anything in this game.
Sry man, i fucked that up and i edit my post. I rly had something like that in mind when thinking about the MoW drama. I think i was mistaken it with Spades streamcheating in a teamhouse while teammates were watching. I sincerely apologize, hf @ hsc.
holy... now I know what went wrong here ;D good to see that the mixup has been cleared...
I just noticed that the only player from the Americas is the NA Qualifier Winner: MajOr ... before Take invited Idra & iNcontroL, why not this time? Not even MrBitter is there? Did Take pay for their flgiht tickets last time and now he doesnt have the money or something ? ;<

Darn, I was hoping for a Startale player. I remember Sound doing pretty well when he qualified. But nonetheless Home Story Cup looks awesome as usual. I want Ret or Grubby to win it all.

It is a waste of resources that could be used to produce a high level tournament like IPL. Just imagine IPL with HSC production and content.

tbh there are plenty of Americans who are better than most of the Europeans at this HSC. They probably didn't want to travel since it's so close to christmas.
Player pool is a lot worse than past HSC. Will be fun to watch Koreans beat down foreigners, but players like Fuzer and Xlord with 30% winrates and struggling to get GM-- not sure about that.

And player pool is better than last time. Especially koreans are a lot better this time.

Got "crushed"? I remember no such thing. Not even remotely. The only threat to top level Koreans like Mvp are few. Stephano. Maybe Scarlett in a ZvZ. Get real w/ the fanboy stuff kid. Half of this line up wouldn't qualify for any other major tournament. This is the WORST lineup since IEM Singapore, without Stephano/Violet it can't be considered a major event.
Why wouldn't you want to watch the BEST players go against each other rather than bunch of rejects try to get attention? Well, if you don't like fun, stay away from HSC and don't try to argue with people who enjoy. Your opinion is okay, but keep it to yourself please.
Can I just say that honestly, the next computer I buy will probably be an XMG if I can manage to get one here in the states because of HSC. Really effective advertising.

I can't wait. I'm rooting for Grubby and hoping he finally wins a major SC2 tournament. Though MMA, MC and MKP probably have better chances to win HSC. And Stephano is also there... .So many good players :D.

A: Stephano, Socke B: MaNa, TLO C: HasuObs, BabyKnight D: Snute, MC E: MKP, Bly F: Grubby, DIMAGA G: MMA, monchi H: Kas, Symbol (Only putting Symbol second because Kas is Symbol's kryptonite)
Are the groups round robin or GSL style? Group A - Stephano, Feast Group B - TLO, MaNa Group C - BabyKnight, HasuObs Group D - MC, Snute Group E - MKP, Bly Group F - Grubby, Dimaga Group G - MMA, monchi Group H - Kas, Symbol

Meh, I think mkp isn't as good as he was. Sure he's shown consistency in gsl results, but I've seen games from him where he looks darn right confused. In his iron squid group, he got demolished by scarlett, like it wasn't even close. First game he went for the standard 15 minute allin with bio/tank/medivac, then got out greeded by scarlett, and completely over run. Then in the second game when he went with mech he just had no raven/viking transition at all, and no 15 minute push... it was just really scary to watch

The first game was odd, but the second he played pretty good, but you can't win with mech unless the zerg makes a big mistake, and Scarlett didn't make a big mistake.
How do you have vikings, a timing push to kill the 4th and have a 4th yourself? you don't, and you sacrifice something to make the others work.

Take said on stream that he would've loved Nerchio as well as Thorzain and someone else (don't remembe right now, but people were asking in this thread about him) to play at HSC, but all the three had some kind of scheduling problem.
Still looking forward a lot to this HSC. Can't wait for i to start.
Grubby will tear this tournament up! It's his time to bring home a big trophy.

Lol, me too. That's such an old school matchup. I still remember that DH finals from just the beginning of the SC2 timeline. It feels like such a long time ago but really isn't when you think about it.
Obvious points would be TLO and Xlord's percentages being so ridiculously high (TLO almost 99%, wtf?) and monchi and MKP (understandable, because I can imagine what his TvZ stats are looking like) so low. But the stats don't lie, it's probably gonna happen this way.

Well, not necessarily.
Yes, MarineKing is low because his TvZ hasn't inspired confidence lately, with losses to Lowely, soo, Scarlett, JKS. (And there's one against goswser too, but that's not included. To be fair there's also a win against him.)
Monchi's numbers would have looked much, much better two weeks ago, but his rating dropped like a stone last list, and PvT is his worst rated matchup. But I can agree with his assessment being pessimistic.
Xlord's recent results haven't been bad, but his probability is high primarily by being in a group with White-Ra and TvZ disaster MarineKing, while having ZvT as his best matchup.
As for TLO, he has actually had pretty good results lately, and Mana has had correspondingly poor ones, with almost abysmal PvZ. If I were doing the numbers myself ("pulling them out of my ass" as it were) I don't think I would have given him 98% though.

Holy shit, didnt even notice that Overlord is not invited, he mentioned that hes going to travel to Singapore or something, maybe thats why

I think that MKP will walk through his group, his not really a "TvZ disaster" as over the last 3 months he has a 50% win rate vs zerg in tournaments, and while that isn't amazing its not bad either, and his losses come from people like Life, Leenock, DRG and Symbol, probably the top 4 zergs, and he still have wins over Sniper, HyuN, Curious and Jaedong.
But as any stats.. well they're stats, and when its "cross server" stats like this, there is a very large skill difference between korean terrans and other terrans, and there is only 3 terrans within EU that I think can rival the koreans sometimes, Kas, ThorZaIN and LucifroN, so for XlorD and Bly terrans are probably even easier, giving them a higher winrate.
The thing I'm looking most forward to is the group selection for the second group stage. Those 30 minutes of utter chaos and mrbitter repeatedly saying: "I have no idea wtf is going on here" was the most entertaining part of HSC 5!

Dont think this will happen again because of the GSL format. How could you determine who the 4 best players are when you have no factors as mapscore?

What about group winners getting to pick the 4 players from the hat. Somehow :p And then that Group selection chaos : )

There can easily be different map-score! A group winner can go everything 4-0 to 4-2. Thats a bit difference! so you get top 4. If you let top 4 start picking...
OK, so today i completed all the work i had; tomorrow morning i will go shopping for the junkiest possible food that will ruin my diet and make me hate the world, and then i will be ready for HSC VI! I am hoping for good games, funny casting and, of course, a ZvZ final

Theres a difference between too sick to play and too sick to fly from mexico to europe
I dont think so. You need to be quite focused while playing starcraft. If you really have a fever that bad that you cant fly you wouldnt be able to play starcraft either. I think playing starcraft is even harder because you have to focus and that works really bad if you have a fever because you get a headache.
I was cautious to accuse someone until now, but its pretty clear to me now.

i am kinda sad that people like you are part of the sc2 community. And your age doesn't justify your behaviour btw.
