ThorZaIN's win was amazing too. Once again he showed how good he is at working out builds, I'm guessing every Terran on Arkanoid is going to go for earlier marines with a delayed gas whenever they go for 3 early CCs, its clearly a more efficient build than the reaper expand into 3 CC. Does anyone have a link to the interview with him afterwards? Its not attached to the end of the Korean or the English vods.

I think he's saying that EG or TL by itself wouldn't even be hanging that well in the PL (at a 3-3 record) without the merger and without JD, who has been proving to be one of the most reliable players on the roster, at least in ZvZ. Ofc I'd still take Taeja and HerO over JD, but he and JYP have been pretty damn important so far in bolstering the roster, esp. in this format. (In the all-kill format, JD will probably not be quite as crucial as someone like Taeja, since JD's so easily sniped.)

JD will be a ZvZ sniper and make room for stephano which might end up being crucial.

It took him more than 3 years to become good at Brood War, so you can bet he has massive potential for growth. Also in BW, he got an awesome ZvZ first, then a nice ZvT and after that a gosu ZvP too (series against Stork). JvZ in Sc2 is already pretty scary.. you know whats next.

Then they'll have two foreigners, minimum.

I don't see what's so impressive about it, it's always korean vs korean win, except for like 1 game? The only foreigner that can even compete with koreans consistently is stephano, other than that there's nothing foreigner about tl/eg all the other decent players/average players are korean. Also, they're playing against less experienced koreans, and still aren't doing fantastic ...
