I was so disappointed at last gamer where neither Soulkey or Light were brought out, and soO only managed 1 kill for SKT. Hoping for an all-kill to compensate. :D

They play at the place where they hold GSL qualifiers for the Monday and Tuesday games because it's not broadcast on OGN but SPOTV instead. SPOTV doesn't have their own studios so they just converted the cafe where they hold Code A qualifiers into a studio.

They need some epic lighting though. Looks a bit cheap ^^
Don't get why Light went for that build. He totally outplayed Stork the last time they met and Stork has been prone to do some weird rush build in PvT. Just play safe and roll him.
it would hurt my FPL team a lot, cause i put quite a few of my eggs in the WJS basket, but a Stork allkill would be funny cause he is on so much Antiteams^^

Yeah, that build usually works out very differently. It might not kill the opponent but it'll definitely put you ahead most of the time, unless you lose all your SCVs in the process.

yeah we don't exactly see tons of cheese PvT right now, I don't think that build was such a bad idea

Yep. It's a free win vs sentry expand because Thor crush force fields. I think light played fine, and wasn't even a bad build given the meta. Sometimes BO loss just happens. I'm confident Light will do well next week.

Don't worry. A LOT of people made that mistake.
u think he is bad? why?
As a stand-alone player, he is good, definitely worth 2 points. But when you consider that he's in WJS, the most well-rounded team in Proleague with 7 potential starting players, his value drops considerably. In round 1, he only played 3 out of 7 matches. Compare that to sOs(Shy), Soulkey, Bravo(hon_sin), and Zero who played all 7 matches. Flying played 5 matches and even free played 4 matches. Consider that in winners league, there are only 4 potential lineup spots compared to the 6 of regular proleague. Add that all up together and you get not such a good pick.
The only plus to picking Light imo is that he was starting against a weak Stork in week 1. I would have bet on Light winning and then traded him immediately.

exactly my plan. WJS has a good draw for week1, he was a starting player with good results and thats for 2p. Even if you add one point for trade tax, i think he is worth it. Its just unfortunate he loses by a bo loss. I dont know why anyone would play 1base blink on Entombed, but apparently Stork knows better :D
But I think i made a mistake with hon_sin. He had 7/7 appearances in round1, but i think today we will see Shy and Soulkey if needed, so its 5points for 0 appearances :/

Stork is a guy who made a 3 gateways in Jaedong natural on Central Plains and pwned him, cheesing Stork is like worst decision ever, unless its OSL finals.
Big mistake was letting free see 2 zealots. There's no reason whatsoever to get 2 offensive zealots if you're going to 4 gate warp prism. Stork was betting on free being passive after seeing Stork's 1 zealot 2 stalker poke.
Also, in today's metagame, if you open zealot/stalker/stalker, it's almost always gateway pressure or 4 gate warp prism. Way too many hints for free that let him camp properly and keep his warpgates active.
has anyone an idea how free got the probe in Storks base? the back was walled, so I guess he just walked in and Stork was busy elsewhere and didnt see it?
I think it wouldnt change the outcome, but Stork should miss the probe on the minimap, as a gosu bw player^^

They probably want to send out weaker players against weaker teams to give them experience. It was pretty common in BW, especially against Air Force ACE.

But I'll recommend that game just for how weird it was. Yeah that was really bad play by both players multiple times, but it was so weird I'll give it 2 thumbs up.
You g uys are so harsh with players. There isn't a single poster in this thread who could even take one game off free or shine. And that's not even BW.
Check the game again - How many Zerglings were there - 40?, 50? and what were the upgrades for the Zealots. Basically all zerglings died in a matter of seconds, only Infestors and the Broods were alive - Few Blinks with several Stalkers warped nearby and the splash from the Archons. But this was pathetic army control from Shine

Zerg engaged with a relatively tiny army on a wide open field. 50 lings and some brooldings don't do shit against that number of zealots, no matter where they fight. And then you kind of don't need that many Stalkers and Archons to deal with the broodlords.
With that tiny army, Shine should never have been in that place, least of all engaged.

2-2 zealots vs 3-3 lings for the upgrades
Ok since I didnt follow the game cause I am watching GSL, there were imo a way too few Zerglings in that army to match the power of Zealot/Archon.
Shine had this, if only he had stayed in his base he would win it easily, but he got overeager, wanted to end the game instead of waiting, and that made him screw my fpl team :/

But wasn't he almost max on supply? I thought his army was pretty big. But he really didn't have enough stuff to kill all the zealots. The fungals did some work but they don't do a lot of damage vs them either.

Yea, seemed to me like most of the main Zerg army was focusing the Zealot/archons while the Stalkers were only held down by fungals. Shine really needed Roaches there (and a 4th base).

Broodlord infestor is pretty much non-existant in hots, protoss air wrecks that shit so hard and vs terran most people prefer roach hydra viper into ultralisks.

It's an option, but Tempests and new Void Rays are a huge deterrant to the turtling shit we're seeing in every ZvP. Also the fact that you can't Vortex anymore makes the battle less about whether that Vortex can hit.

I still feel that it is pretty hard to predict
the problem is that with ak format one player can carry a team. If Jangbi is really hot he could just get 2+kills each map and wreck lots of FPL teams :D

Yeah. That's the annoying thing in all-kill format when there are two aces, you can't know who will be sent out first. Like Rain is super strong but he seems to be sent out as the last resort, so Fantasy owners will benefit the most despite Rain being stronger. Same for EG-TL when there will be Stephano, and in a lot of teams where there are two aces.

Plus why pick someone on a weak team, someone likely to play every match? Dangerous!

We're not ALWAYS a bad team, it's just that we don't have a killer ace to focus with and Stork and JB are both weird in terms of consistency. Also nobody fears the breakdown of KHAN, we're just not being too hot right now but things might change once the boys get used to SC2. Plus it's just round 2 of SPL and I'm not too worried.

You have to wait until round three starts. Sign ups for the winners league are already closed.
Thanks. Where are the sign ups though? I will try to follow it this time more closely > . >
I feel sorry for this guy he would've had the highest score prior to this match except he had Jangbi on his team. Now he's gonna fade to obscurity as the power of Jangbi rises to destroy all.

As far as I know, Khan never actually got that much money from Samsung. The company itself is a giant, but that doesn't mean their team is necessarily well-funded.
I'm pretty confused how some things work in FPL, could someone explain to me...
Hydra is on my anti-team. 2 times he has won a game and then lost the 2nd...that doesn't seem to have nullified the negative points i've received. Should it?
JYP also on anti-team, he lost to Fantasy the other night... Do I not get positive points when an anti-team person loses?
Also on my normal team are players like Rain, Bisu, Paralyze . They each got me a point but they haven't played yet in round 2 as far I can see. Why did I get points there?
Thanks in advance to whichever kind soul explains these things to me!

I'm not a hundred percent sure about this, but here's how I understand it:
1. Wins give more points than losses. As such, if a person on your anti-team wins to games and loses two, you'll still have negative points due to the point they get from being fielded at all + winning (and, if their team wins, they get another extra point for that)
2. I think that would be a 0, since the loss (-1?) and him being fielded (+1?) cancel each other out.
3. While they haven't played, SKT (mostly Fantasy) won their game, giving each SKT player a +1 for being on a team that won a game.

That's just the way scoring works, and the All kill format is a bit wonky for FPL. A player gets +1 point for an appearance (one max per day) +2 for each win and -1 for each loss. On top of that a team winning a match gives all players on that team +1. so Hydra should have gotten 3 points last night for a win and a team win and 2 points on Friday for a win. Anti team member's cannot give you points in all kill, the anti team scoring is just the opposite of main team. Best case scenario in All kill format is your anti team player either doesn't play and his team loses, or plays one game and loses, and his team loses. Scoring is in full detail in the scoring thread, the link to which is under he links in the features->fantasy menu
Thank you both, I should have read that a little more in detail when creating my team. I wasn't planning on taking this too seriously but it is fun to keep track of and at least for the future I will have a better understanding. Have a good one!

Not saying skillwise, just saying the company Samsung is not very committed to starcraft, so they don't have unlimited funds like SKT T1 and KT Rolster. Though Samsung dropping the team is probably never gonna happen as long as proleague exists.

It seems that you are pretty familiar in terms of the assets of Khan & other teams... I'm looking forward to a source and detailed description of this matter...

They are sponsored by one branch, a not significant one, can't afford a lot of things. Heard from some casters way back.
