Vasacast is the main professional Italian casting reality. Its internet site http://www.vasacast.com is currently the reference point for the Italian community and beyond.
Just look at the amount of work they put on this event: trailer, dedicated website, big prize pool. If you like Vasa's casting you should definitely watch this tournament and support him.
Wow! what a tournament well done Vasacast !! there are most of my favorite sc2 players , I wish the italian comunity would grow up and get a place in the top of international e-sports. (go go go StarEagle !!!!! )
I'm looking forward to this, it's probably gonna be the best tournament ever organised by the Italian community. My bet for the final victory is on Nerchio, but I hope for the Italians players to do well
Wow, ClouD really threw that victory away. Had he sniped the Nexus instead of all the pylons and retreated immediately afterwards, he would've been miles ahead... <.<
You know after all the calculated and patient PvZ deathballs and timings in Korea seeing two foreigners smash never ending wave of deathballs at eachother is oddly entertaining as a switch up.

Seeing Snute using overlord drops heavily on his streaming sessions, would only be logical to use it against lucifron Still, I encourage everything that doesn't involve Broodlords.
It might be me but does the guy at the right look like John Travolta in Pulp Fiction :D. Really enjoying the casting even if i dont understand a single word.
Woohoo, LucifroN! Greatest semifinals imaginable, so happy with the outcome. I'll have to catch the VODs since I had to leave after Zium vs Snute, sounds like it was good fun so far.
Well, the last game was a lot of fun to watch. Why did Lucifron won? - Snute played super greedy. He did not make a single unit before 8 minute mark, only 2 extra queens (5 queens for 3 bases) - Snute also did not make a single spine. - Snute did not have a baneling nest - Snute went for infestors and never built one.
Thou he made all these mistakes and Lucifron went full-all-in with 30+scvs he almost won. That is insane!

Just watched Cloud tearing TLO apart :O he was on fire like never before, rock solid performance. The music and vasa's energy made the series even more awesome. And a sc2 tournament without the Duran derby would be dull, can't wait to see it !
Finished watching the VODs, well played ClouD, Kas, Lucifron, Vortix and fraer, fun games to watch. And a huge thanks to Vasa and Guzzo, they were incredibly entertaining as always, fueled by many litres of Red Bull.
Even more energy when Italians are involved, so I'm glad ClouD got through - or Carlo Nazionale as Vasa calls him. :D
I still crack up every time the national anthem is played after an Italian wins.
Didn't Cloud switch races in HoTS to Protoss? Didn't know he was even playing Terran games anymore
He probably isn't playing Terran games anymore, but he said his level with Protoss on HotS is mid-high master at the moment, I think that wouldn't be enough to beat White-Ra and TLO in WoL.
And sometimes playing a different race for a while can help you and change your perspective on how the other ones are played, Nerchio does that all the time as far as I know.

Dunno about your example, but I completely agree with your point. Also, since it's slightly related: have you ever seen MVP playing zerg? I'm not a pro, but I'm pretty sure he could offrace as a zerg in foreign tournaments.
VortiX tweeted not GGing against LucifroN just comes natural for him now because they played more than a hundred practice games in the last few weeks, nothing to do with rage.

:O
Problem?
Agh, and really sad that ClouD lost that match. I always considered forcing your opponent into a four gate was the ideal situation for a terran after a engineering bay block... ClouD was floating alot of minerals when the attack hit, had he decided to throw down a third bunker (in addition to the second which got destroyed by fraer), the game would've looked alot different.
I want a big macro game, need more storms. Probably not going to happen with fraer, though. Anyway, ClouD brought the quatro gate upon himself with the ebay block and the gas steal, I had expected him to a bit more prepared.
Redbull better be giving Vasa money. I think he has Redbull in his veins instead of blood. That's the only way I can see him keeping up this level of energy for every single game.

I think red bull's secret ingredient is a drop of his blood

I feel kinda bad for cloud but can't blame him, I personally think Protoss is just super compelling right now, if I come back to the game I want to make that my race, they get so many cool toys. Other tournament just saw Grubby using those Tempests shooting CC's from a mile away, looked so smexy.
I almost wonder if there are too many streams, no single stream over 1k? Anyway, I just logged in to basically say that I honestly have never heard a better intro than that from VASA I realize that he gets lots of praise already but he is so good at hype and loved the perfect use of music and sound effects. Its also good to say there are so many different languages out there and it seems like the internet has made English dominate but Italian is a beautiful language to listen too.

The casting is awesome. I know everybody already said it, but it is just grandioso !
When I saw the 2 bases roach push against the "cute" defense with the raven, I tough that it was over, just like in game 2. But then, there was a banshee, such a small change and it transitionned into an awesome game. Cloud may have lost but he played really well the whole tournament. Maybe going ghost instead of thors, or avoiding landing his vikings and he could have won...
Anyway, that was an awesome game. Gratz VortiX, well deserved !
Watched the VODs now, as expected, LucifroN crushes fraer in fraer's worst matchup, I really dislike this blink into DT play, it doesn't seem to work very often. fraer vs VortiX would probably have been more interesting, but that's what we have Ritmix RSL for in a week or two.
Congrats to LucifroN, he continues to stomp through tournaments and going full-time seems like a great idea already. I can't wait to see what he comes up with in HotS, I expect him to be the strongest foreign Terran by far after some time.
And a big thank you to Vasa and his team for hosting and casting this phenomenal tournament, I hope it won't be the last.
Watching the VODs, don't understand a goddamn word of Italian (save from the occasional "TRE HELLION, TRE HELLION!!!") and this is by far the best casting I've ever seen.
Was sick and asleep yesterday so I missed out on the live action. ..but luckily there are vods
A big congratulation to the winners Lucifron, Vasa and Guzzo. It was a wonderful event. <3 And I would like to give a special award for Most Valiant Fighter (MVF): Cloud
