No. This tourney had the best possible lineup. Every major player was invited but who wins... Zerg as always... we need HotS right now! WoL is just not balanced since like 4 month. What makes you think that HotS will be any better? Both games are design and balanced by Blizzard so all you are doing is buying time until the next screw-up. Blizzard does not balance WoL anymore, they focus 100% on HotS - it has to be balanced.
They had 2 years to polish WoL. Hots wont be balanced because Blizzard does not have a system by which they approach potential balance issues. The importance of the criteria changes, they have double standards etc.

I (and probably him, since he decided to do it) think it actually ups his chances. He just mis-microed & didn't know Stephano's reaction to 11/11, he could have made it way closer
Fair enough. I was thinking about the 3 11/11s in a row rather than throwing in a 11/11 here and there. Then again, I do remember Keen beating Squirtle with it so what do I know. xD
Oh wells. I'll say this, I am so glad I'm not terran. LOOOLs.

Losing Coach Ryu hurt MMA's morale and playing habits badly. See the difference as soon as he left, MMA began to play at a lesser level, and combined with the SlayerS drama, there is a reason why MMA declined beyond the patches and BL/Infestor. Kaoru (the manager of Acer) just said on the french stream that they worked really hard to prepare the games of Scarlett and MMA .

I am not complaining about balance, I am just really tired of ZvZ, just like how back in 2010 and 2011 people were really tired of TvT.
Doesn't matter to TLers. Most TLers have PhDs in statistics and will tell you that tournament results are too small sample size. Zerg results mean nothing now but for some reason they did during the GSL TvT.
The same people say balance only matters at highest level which is GSL so everything is fine if there are no good foreign Terrans but Thorzain. Amazing though they remove the Warhound and are trying to balance HOTS which contradicts that balance only matters at the highest Korean GSL level. I guess a bunch of non-pros playing in limited sample size is enough to get a unit removed from HOTS.
That's TLers for you, glad to see LoL and Dota 2 dominating in popularity.

And that very hard preperation lead to 3 times 11/11?

Months ago he'd play incredible Zerg players (maybe even Stephano, I don't remember specific matches) and it'd seem like he was toying with them. He'd be dropping in one place, nuking in another, running 2 hellions into a drone line elsewhere, and then fighting the main army and doing damage in every spot at once. And now we're at this, pretty disappointing.
Well it's more that the match up changed a lot, than MMA being weaker with his controls. It is harder to outmaneuver a zerg with the amount of creep there is on the map lately. He could at least try to drop like before but the main difference is that you are less of a threat now getting in the middle of the map (because you actually lose if you are not extremely careful doing so) than you used to be. Well the whole dynamic of the match up really changed a lot. Despite Mvp and his injury, there are a lot of terran who were incredibly good at TvZ who almost cannot even win a single match now. MMA of course, but also Jjakji, Ganzi, Happy (he was like 14-2 at a point) or even MarineKing who was mainly losing TvT back then.
Sometimes I wonder if the biggest change to the TvZ MU rather than infestors starting to be used to their plain potential isn't still the fact that you can't actually control creep properly, turning almost the entire map into a danger zone.

I'll take the lesser of two evils, PvZ over ZvZ, because there are two ZvZ already, for the next round. Creator over DRG 3-2 with longer games than previous serie would be nice.
|
Why is DRG facing Parting? Isn't he supposed to face Creator?
Edit: It's a mistake I'm guessing? Sorry for the bad question.

Lol ToD
Yoan Merlo @ToDsc2 MMA seems totally lost vs Zerg, now i know what it looks like when ppl see me play !
