I just remember MKP saying it tbh.
He's 15 and theoretically he can still be the next Flash since he's so young still and Flash won his first OSL when he was 15.... so it's not hopeless for him yet.... though unlikely.

yeah you're right... he showed insane skills in the tvp matchup though, that can't be denied. Maru while being a decent terran never showed the potential Dream did in these games, people were maybe a bit over-excited about him because he was like 14 when he 1st played wasn't he? the cute factor.

The reason Maru got hype was because he was the youngest player to ever qualify for Code S. I think he was the youngest ever for the GSL at one point but I'm not sure if that still stands

Wait, I missed most of Dream's games. The only one I actually watched was game two of him vs mOOnGLaDe. How did he play? I assume he's quite good considering he beat PartinG and took a game off First.

Hadn't any expectations for this event, but it really surprised be how good it was. The crowd was really just awesome and they had some luck with storylines. Even the FFA was great, just awesome start to the year. And SOCKE got Sick Nerd Baller and #Top4. :D

Dream was A BEAST. Only Firsts insane pressure made him destabilize.

Dream's TvP is amazing, but his TvZ doesn't seem up to his TvP standard

Why did moonglade win that ffa? Just because he had the tower at 45:00? the game didnt end im confused

This tournament was pretty amazing and I was kinda happy that it didnt end in a ZvZ finals like a lot of other tournaments this year although I wish most of the streams didn't lag.

These FFAs that tournaments like to mix in tend to take very long, so they cut them short by at some point imposing a new win condition, being whoever holds the Xel'naga Tower at a certain time wins.

Someone rename to [IEM] Katowice Day 4 Grand Failnale! I have no doubt in my mind that the games were good, shame i couldnt see them cause of all the lags and stream shutdowns T_T

The important factor here is they were about to start grand finals at that point, so the needed a solution to cut FFA short.

(dream was too aggressive in the final, which made him very vulnerable in the transition to late game.) dream's play was a classic example of the combination of a rock solid opener with very good mechanics. the way he dismantled parting was very cool to witness. imho he's definitely a player to watch in the future!

If he had attacked 10-15s earlier he would have lost all of them; if he had attacked 10-15s later he wouldn't make it in time :D

Ironically, Dream only got to come to IEM because Maru wasn't old enough to come after qualifying.
