It was really an awesome event. Like seriously, the crowd, the players, the casters, the orchestra, the live band, Nestea's tears... Couldn't describe how awesome it was!
Some replays and videos have been released on the IS youtube channel. Check them and hear the mighty roar of the frenchies
Props to everyone who participated both in the staff and the audience: it was crazy. I really hope they can make another one!

They will make another one, they pointed out at it several times, and DRG will win it! :p
Amazing tournament, amazing atmosphere, amazing games (for the most part), amazing orchestra, amazing final, amaaaazing finish. Couldn't have been better. Needed a toss maybe but ZvZs was really awesome (Last game between Nestea and DRG is a must watch). I really glad i was there. It is giving me a thrill just to think about it .

Whoa whoa, Nestea cried? What happened?
I was only watching sporadically so don't know.
People was cheering so much from him during the whole match against DRG... When finally at 2-2 he lost the game on a very tight game, he didn't want to deceived people there. After his "GG" DRG came on the stage for the interview. You certainly miss it on the stream, but people in the audience clearly saw Nestea removing his glasses and start waving his hands to cool his head. During 1 or 2 minutes, people start to cheer for DRG and Nestea was alone in his booth, crying a little and tryed as much as he could to dry is tears before someone enter his both.
Few people catch it live. But I was in front of the booth. He definitely WAS crying. After that, people was shouting his name to make him come back in front of the audience. He was trying hard to hide his feeling.
But the most heart breaking moment was after DRG "GG" the last game against Life. The crowd was absolutely nuts but DRG was totally destroyed and crying openly on his keyboard, drop his glasses and his headphone on the desk and cry cry cry a lot. Lot of people (i don't really know/see who) were trying to cheer him up but during 5 minutes, he stayed here crying, head in his hands, trying to figure out how all that happens and how was it possible to lose with a 9pool banneling against a 15 hatch gaz pool...
Aside from that all the day was EPIC from our arrival at 7:00 until 00:00 after the show. Great match, great venue, amazing opening with live band an orchestra, no breakup between games, a wild Day9 on stage during the HotS showmatch. Amazing day that I will never forget.
EDIT : how can I forget that : AMAZING AUDIENCE --- very cheerful for the 4 players, whatever the result, winner and looser had the same amount of applause and cheering. I hope for an Iron Squid 3. It cannot end there.
I really hope this tournament and amazing final will convince the owner of IEM, MLG or even GSL that there is a huge SC2community in France (and a large e-sport community) and we know how to make a great tournament final. I would love to have another major event in France and not only ESWC & Iron Squid.

Well Pomf said they didn't have anything planned in this way for now and there were some hints that's they might have financial issues on ro32 casts. And he was dead serious which worried me a little.

I saw Reis and Nestea trying to cheer DRG up. At least, on stage, when we were chanting for him, he smiled and regained composure. :D
Lol MKP. Serves him right for cheesing his way to Paris. MC would've had a better chance placing high or even winning the whole thing considering his late game pvz's.

Are you implying that "cheesing your way" anywhere is any less legit?
I just came home from Paris, It was an amazing event. The players showed us really great games. I felt sad for DRG at the end, he is a really nice guy (I had the chance to meet him the day before). I will definitely come back for Ironsquid III.
