I wouldn't be so sure. Woongjin isn't unbeatable. Team 8 beat them twice, so did EG-TL and the last team they've also lost to is ... CJ Entus. Furthermore, CJ is in my opinion the second best WoL team in the ProLeague and the match-ups they ended up with aren't that bad for them. Despite the estimations, it wouldn't surprise anyone if ZerO and sOs would win their games. Or if Bong or Hydra win and bring this to the ace match. The ace match is unpredictable and we can trust WJS coach to be sneaky.

Looks almost fixed zero played so bad, or it must be me. Heaving heavy defence at one place but can't defend his expansions. Also he just waited to gg.

If anybody would fix a game (which they wouldn't, given the past), they certainly wouldn't do it in game 1 of a match in the middle of the season. He just played poorly
Twitch not loading for me on chrome; no streams are loading although all the other things are working fine. Youtube working fine, so I don't know if it's necessarily a video issue. Additionally, Firefox is working for me, as is my phone. Anyone able to help?
Why hide the stargate behind the gas? Against a zerg who can scout with overlords it seems an odd choice, because it is the obvious place to hide something (so the obvious place to scout).
I liked how flying hit both the third and the main at the same time there. Some times I think I'm going to miss warping stuff onto the high ground like that for HotS. I guess it's probably the right call to take that stuff out though.

Well the ovies are more likely to be on either side of the toss base by then but I'd bet the main reason is making the shortest rally possible. The smoke hiding it is just a bonus.

And the next GSL season's up & downs. It makes sense, given the tournament structure, but in terms of timings it's pretty unfortunate

I thought the IEM would be WoL too...
No just HoTS from the looks of it I thought MLG was going to have that half WoL, half HoTS but looks like theyre just pushing for full HoTS

edit: @ poster above, IEM is Hots, IPL is Wol
Thanks, I get them confused so often, both are 3-letter acronyms beginning with 'I' :p
I actually wrote "IPL" first time but thought I had got it wrong so edited it to "IEM". Whoops.
Edit: Aerisky; I think they said they were having technical problems this game so there is no HD.

The zergs are good too, see Soulkey, Roro, Hydra, Soo have all done very well.

I really have to give it to shy, this is a pretty sexy build. Rooting for him now even though I have no idea what the supply counts are like except that they're both triple digits for the time being.

Zergs are doing well with Soulkey, Hydra, Zero, Roro, Effort. It is the terrans that are struggling (Bogus, Flash). But if we look at WoL when Kespa joined, eSF terrans have been struggling as well. So I think this is not surprising. Will see what happens with HoTS.

Yeah, Soulkey and Roro are pretty hot stuff, too. Hope Roro takes GSL, much as I detest Zergs.
Even though EffOrt lost, there were some cool Neurals in that game, such as on the Mothership and especially on the Archons which tried to do some splash damage on the very clumped-up Void Rays. I found this to be a very entertaining PvZ and a breath of fresh air from the norm.

Ah, points! When I made my team around the holy trio of Hydra, JangBi and Fantasy, I was definitely not expecting to be in the situation I find myself in right now. T_T

It may be a dead horse, except that it's still a problem: I don't watch SPL because of the casters.
Hopefully with HoTS they can get some new blood in there, but in the meantime I'll follow the results for the awesomeness that is FPL, but that's about it.
Though you're right, either way HoTS should (hopefully) bring in plenty of new viewers. How long they'll stay however, remains to be seen.

The reason people are not watching SPL much anymore is because GSTL has started up again which has much higher level of play and more popular players.

There are some really weird properties about thors in mech TvT. The only ESF player I know that used them a lot was Bomber.
This isnt even fair anymore.. Woongjin is destroying every single SPL team and the games arent even close. I think they might be the 3rd best team ever assembled outside of LG-IM and Startale. I wonder how good they will be in HoTS though..
Edit: Also happy to see my boy Light getting it done

They've both been in the GSL for a few seasons and they are actually playing each other in the Code A Ro24, so one of them is guaranteed a Code S spot for next season.

Yeah, but that was the past, where they always fell apart. Don't know how good they were that time, but they surely look good now. Just a pity there's no more time for WoL now.
