Man that ace match of Rain vs Flash was so nice to watch. I hope this next series is as good. With heaps of ZvP, hopefully the games will be nice and aggressive without deathbally stuff.

Stargate will probabaly become the standard in PvT. Defending against stargate play delays medivacs to around the 11 minute mark. Which better helps you setup to be able to defend the multiple harass doom drops of terran.

Aye you need the phoenixes. The stalkers/storms help quite a bit but with the increased regen you need the nixes to hunt down the mutas.

But I'm far from an expert :p
If you try to fight big mutas numbers with stalkers, its a clear loss.

Maybe. Because I was like: -Oh he saw the mutas (when he killed 4 in the base that were badly rallied). Now he will begin to resume phoenix production -Then... he loses 1, 2, 3 phoenix slowly to a bigger and bigger number of mutas without going either archive or phoenixes -He loses, facerolled by 40mutas.

The production is really annoying, that "mind" music was funny 2sec. I would prefer some kind of ad or just an "ads are being played" screen.

I just watched the end of that game again, the spore was under attack (flashing on minimap) at the same time as the hatch was being killed. The hatch got cancelled, the spore was still under attack then Shine was eliminated.

The Stream numbers are high too (14k!).
It rose from 5k to 14k today.
Unusual, the stream actually held enough momentum attracted more players than SKT vs KT (compared to now STX and Samsung) on Twitch.

Overall, HotS Proleague has really improved from WoL.

Exactly what I did in WoL after the 13 minute roach remax became popular, except I made carriers and a mothership (remember that black-holing motherfucker?) instead of tempests, and voids didn't kill roaches at such light speeds. Zergs typically fall apart against it, and without upgrade-benefiting infested terrans and a more easily dodgeable fungal growth, I can see zergs having a much harder time against it in HotS.

Also one more thing I forgot to mention - Props to Proleague for adding the BW style countdown and team logo decals and the best of all... the EPIC MAP INTROS (the previews for both Naro Station and Korhal Floating Island were really epic... I like the theme of those maps being set on something floating and moving either in the sky or in the space).
GSL should definitely get either Korhal Floating Island or Naro Station next season (again, after seeing how the map looks and the preview, I'm now a big fan of those types of environment for maps).
If they hadn't done anything like that, it wouldn't be as exciting. Just those three simple things (map previews, BW countdown, and the team logos) makes these games feel more "unique".
I mean, it's good tournaments are doing things like this since this allows them to be more "distinct" from other tournaments (it adds more to the viewer experience when you see something either in the observer or maps that are unique to that specific tournament).
Also the BW countdown seems to be done in game actually (since the Observer text actually appeared in the middle of the map and since it goes to the game right away instead of a loading bar).
Well, it shows KeSPA (or whoever they're getting to help edit their maps) know how to take advantage of the editor features which is definitely great for Proleague (a tournament where unique maps are very encouraged due to the team league "pick a player with a specific race for a specific map" format).
