Brown < Argo Rain > Cure Bisu < ALBM (because Whirlwind) soO > Terminator FanTaSy <> TY PartinG > TRUE
It'll be down to TY. If he loses, then SKT takes it 4-2. If he wins, then 3-3 and SKT proabably still takes it. I don't think anyone from Team 8 can take out Rain or Parting in an Ace match on Fighting Spirit.
if speed can take out rain, i feel like 8th team takes it Jaehoon Rain check Terminator and whoever takes this wins imo if BaBy can take it 8th team 4-1 else SKT 4-3

does anyone notice how much cleaner the graphics look when compared to the WCS NA stream? It's gotta be some setting that's different but this is way better.
edit: and 4 hellions would've done a lot of damage....this guy =_-
Zzzzzz Rain PvT is the most boring thing ever. His build is so solid that no drops can get off so they just macro for 16 minutes and have 1 engagement that decides the whole game.

yeah i have to agree Rain is pretty boring to watch. Most of his game are just turtle to a max out army and 1 big engagement.
bisu playing like me. doing all sorts of damage with the stargate, and losing everything to the hydra push, while being totally unprepared for the muta switch
I think the colossi auto attacked which is why it ran out but ya, he was doing fine then let those zerglings into his base and lost a lot of probes etc...
On April 22 2013 16:16 EpiK wrote: how many probes did the ling run-by actually kill? It didn't seem enough to put bisu that behind
I would've thought the same but then he lost all his phoenixes minus one to the hydras because he was distracted and he must've lost at least 10 probes at least since half the slings went into the main
LOL Bisu Im actually surprised by the level of play of both Bisu and ALBM. I still wonder how Bisu placed 1st in Hots beta, maybe Rain played on Bisu's account? lol
On April 22 2013 16:16 EpiK wrote: how many probes did the ling run-by actually kill? It didn't seem enough to put bisu that behind
It was about 15 workers, and lost mining time as well. Definitely screwed up the flow of the game for bisu since I think he lost a few phoenix during that scramble as well (which could have scouted the muta switch and helped against the first wave). Bisu might have had to sac his 3rd regardless but I think he would have still been in a great spot tech and army-wise.

Well, considering how badly playing SC2 hurts mechanics (among other things), switching back to BW would still be difficult. It took Sea a while to back into things, and he is still not as good as he was. Having said that, there are plenty of strong BW players.

Whatever happened to elephants dominating right away?
But seriously, I don't know why Bisu is struggling so much. Difference of SC2 Protoss from BW Protoss too much to handle?
JangBi seems to be handling that difference quite well.
JangBi's doing alright. He has commented that he misses being able to be aggressive, though. SC2 Protoss has to play pretty passively, which does not really suit his style from BW, but he seems to have accepted this and has adjusted accordingly. I feel Bisu is the same... minus the adjusted accordingly part. =_=

While that does contribute, it is more of the fact that SC2 Protoss units can not do much on their own. Forced unit dependencies on each other, concussive shell, and perfect surround AI zerglings are only some of the examples of the things that make Protoss play the way they do. Take it how you will.
Anyway, I should stop talking about this before I get flamed or something lol

Oh Fanta vs Baby. I hope Baby ups his game, cause he is looking way more dissapointing than in BW (which could be said about almost every a-teamer lolol).
Terminator almost approached mushroom level hallucs there.
@Tannex For real, he's about 50% in recent Proleague games, but two of those wins were ace matches against Rain and herO, so he's looking really good (both ways).

Fantastic, great to hear. :D Hopefully he does well against Dear.
Maybe a silly question, but I always wondered - how are players matched against each other ? Is it a blind pick, when coaches decide in advance who will play on which map withou knowing opponents choices ? It doesn`t seem likely to mee, since chance we would have so many good matches like Fantasy-TY, HerO-Rain and Taeja-Innovation are slim...

I believe all they know is the team and map in advance. Would love someone who definitely knew though to inform.

Haha, that just goes to show how many good players there are in Proleague nowadays.

All they know is the maps/team and the coach's just put out there line ups (at least one of each race)
A lot of time the good match ups are teams trying to snipe players or the map is just really good for one race.
That was a sick build! I definitely don't think True should have gone for the baneling attack, but that's pretty unlucky that it got scouted right away.
why is there so much downtime in spl? what are they doing between games? i hate to see the same teamvideos again and again, the games are shorter than the breaks :/

While Bisu certainly would top the BW scene I think that killer is also a player that would challenge him pretty good. But I won't argue Movie as Bisu's PvP was atrocious in the final year or so in his career. It seems to have carried over into SC2. As an opponent I would always match him with a protoss for an auto win.

I think SC2 Protoss is more passive than BW Protoss as in you can pressure but it's risker which is why the MC was put in.
The difference in SC2 Protoss is huge. Honestly I'm worse at SC2 protoss also. I honestly believe that micro-ing protoss in SC2 is extremely difficult and in fact is sometimes non existent. At least in BW every additional click on your units meant that you could be pushing yourself ahead. But in SC2 units are bunched up so much that it is hard to individualize them. It is extremely frustrating to play HoTs. I do feel that the mechanics are available among Zerg and Terran however to take advantage of micro and faster hands. I'm pretty much at the point where while he may be a decent SC2 player unless he switches races I don't see a good future for him in the SC2 world. But the problems can't be fixed for one player so nothing left to do but keep cheering for him win or lose.

on the other hand, Bisu has never been an ambitious one. He is certainly one of the gifted ones. What he always lacked is perseverance. It is not the game that is at fault at all. Right now he is one of the mediocrities from among BW legends. Many of us would rather see him move to BW, but I think he is just making some money out there.

I'm sorry but what? Bisu is the only protoss with 3 MSL's. He didn't just kill Savior. And do I need to count off his many successes in Proleague? If you are saying the greatest protoss player statistically of all time is sitting in the mediocrity of BW legends then you are out of your f-ing mind. He literally transcended PvZ multiple times and look at his freaking win rate. Jesus you really were looking to just look foolish. It upsets me that I even bothered to give your post attention but I'll get into it if you really want me to.

Nice win today bit it bothers me that SKT1 acquired Brown. Yes, he's a decent player, but the team is lacking in racial diversity now. I would much rather have seen them acquire a solid terran or zerg.
