TaKeTV.net Nathanias OGamingTV | KingCobra | TheArgie Thursday, Jul 11 1:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) ROOT can be the party pooper for Quantic as a win against them would eliminate Quantic's playoff chances. The only thing that is on the line for ROOT is the title for the best American team in the Acer TeamStory Cup. This won't be easy as Quantic's HyuN is gaining shape recently. The two worst teams in the league playing each other. I'd say there's a slight advantage for Quantic if Yugioh/Sage play, big advantage for Quantic if they don't.
Props to ROOT for not giving up although they're past the point where they can dream of a good or even mediocre placement. One win in eleven matches and a walkover win against ded Karont3 is not much of an accomplishment.

So this just popped up in my twitterfeed:
"Nathan Fabrikant @ROOTnathanias 1m
This just in... due to west coast timezones and long practice hours, I may be playing in our ATC match. First person cast inc"
Im personally rly looking forward to this :D gogo nathanias!
edit: no german cast today, they couldnt get a replacement for take @taketv. (They mentioned ingame @nathanias stream)

close but good initial defense by puck, hwansin had too much of an army advantage in the end
|
Wow that battle looked so good for drewbie then he threw it :/
|
What's up with Drewbie throwing away armies against Protoss on Star Station?

it was weird that he chased for so long, and then donated 4 vikings by landing them...everything went downhill from there... a shame really, he seemed ahead a little before that

Yeah apparently there are some issues preventing some of their players from playing. Which is why we didn't get to see Sage/YuGiOh/Kane.
This should be fun XD
|
lolol he even announced the players, and zoomed in on the dark base of Hyun, this man is amazing
|
Greatest thing I've seen in a while.
|
let's see if hyun knows how catz deals with cc first

One thing i found amazing about nathanias is that effectively his career is built on how much people disliked the proleague casters.
|
no catz-style hatch block on the nat - terran must win this! (:

???
I'd argue the fact that he's the only consistent English stream for ATC and also casts other events (like the Ritmix RSL) contributed a lot more to it than you seem to be implying. Plus the fact that he's an engaging caster and overall cool dude.

Hyun too scared to play nathanias straight up and so resorted to such cheeses
|
ok, held that... but at what cost

But really at the end of the day the reason he broke out was when he provided an alternative stream for proleague before the RSLs and ATCs

so bm ;/ busts front and 2 nyduses simultaneously

I voted yes just for the awesome players intro

i am growing to love nathanias by the month
go rut!
|
hahaha "hyun luckily won last game with nydus" - one time the losing player won't complain that the caster bashed him down
|
Need more Nathanias casting top-tier events, such an amazing caster.
|
Aw man... ROOT took Quantic to the ace match and have to face Code S HyuN lol
|
Great results by Puck and Catz, those were some really nice wins.

too bad ROOT didn't have their Koreans once again, they could have won that
|
HyuN continues to be the ace for Quantic in these hard times.

Tomorrow 2 matches: Acer - Axiom 12h00 CEST Liquid - Millenium 15h00 CEST
edit: and omg, I just saw the maps for WEEK 16, they updated them!! Newkirk TE! Red City! they removed old maps like Cloud Kingdom & Ohana (but Daybreak is still here)
|
Quantic would probably completely irrelevant without Hyun and ROOT simply isn't allowed to win games in ATC. 11th week without a win.
Thanks to Nathanias for a fun cast, especially his own match.
|
It's quite tragic, especially when you look at today's series and realize that if ROOT had any of their big hitters they'd almost certainly have won. But at least it's good to see that their NA guys are still relevant (and CatZ ^^), even when pitted against arguably tough opposition.
