As promised, and after the awesome time we had last time, I am happy to announce the SC2 Toronto Open Tournament #2 hosted at the Microsoft Store in Yorkdale mall. There are 24 spots available because space is limited. Because of venue policy registration can only be done online. I hope to see all the awesome people I saw last time plus more.
1 vs 1 Open Group Stage [Single Match] * Single Elimination Bracket [2 out of 3/ Finals: 3 out of 5]* *= Format can change based on participation [Double elimination if less than 16]

God that made me laugh lol! , I am anticipating that your game will be the game that gets it cause you'll assume your opponent will ban it and it will get played as your final match in the series... cause you are meta like that.

lol don't pretend like you are going to watch any videos! You and I both know you won't just make grunts and raiders and harass with farseer and you'll be fine.... oh.. wait XD
For those that played there, how different is it playing at the Microsoft Store compared to playing at home? I'm not even talking about the surrounding environment. I'm just talking about you to your PC (laptop in this case).
The store itself was really nice, great lighting and good room temperature. As for the hardware the laptops ran the game pretty smooth, I didn't check the FPS but playing I didn't really notice any performance issues so the laptops ran perfectly fine. The only thing that that I needed to adjust to personally was the size of the screen, it was just smaller than I was used too.
I don't think I can make this lan but I hope it turns out great. Hf everyone and thanks drek for running another lan
Thanks Joker! I am glad to be running another one. I have also updated the tickets. I'll be putting together a bracket for wednesday and registration closes on friday.

we are still using the laptop screens, only because of the stable space, the monitors would take up to much room or else we would do monitors for sure.
Yes the event was fun! I was surprised to see so much "broadcast" equipment this time. It's looking more "upscale" haha. Great job on the organizing and hosting of everying Drekken! Keep the tournaments coming.
It was fun to meet the players I saw last time and new players I didn't last time. It's like meeting celebrities haha
I uploaded a couple of the videos I filmed if anyone is interested(or missed the event) on how the event looked. It's just raw video files. It was crowded with more people than I thought. I'm guessing if I got there earlier it would have been even more crowded.
