Doesn't Scarlett feel the patch buffs widow mines, though, because it's harder to redirect the widow mine splash onto marines?
Like, yes, if the zerg mismicros and clumps a bunch of units not next to terran units, the old widow mines could be disasterous. But like...Scarlett just got to a level where she could play an entire match without any massive mismicro moments. (She's also one of the few zergs who tends not to take massive mine hits on her mutas).
Bomber is also a very heavily preparation based player--when he faced Scarlett in season 2, he had builds prepared specifically for her (proxy reaper into reaper hellion into 3 CC. If he were up against a zerg who liked to roach allin, this would be suicide). He also had planned bunker rushes, and planned surprise 20 marine moveouts to snipe her third. None of these things require widow mines.
She can definitely beat him, don't get me wrong, but I certainly wouldn't call the match for Scarlett this early.
Also, she might not even get to face Bomber. Let's say first round goes PartinG > Scarlett and Bomber > Golden. If Bomber then beats PartinG in the winner's match, then she never gets to face Bomber, and has to face PartinG again to get out of the group.
